My husband and I actually had a great time here as we rented on ORV for one of the 3 days we stayed. The surrounding trails and area are breathtaking! We saw wild moose and elk. I’m giving this hipcamp a low rating for a few reasons. First, no one ever replied to my messages on hipcamp. I asked several questions, no reply. I kept getting the automated messages with the “click here for more details”, yet there was no link. Nothing to click. Hipcamp advertised pool and hot tub at this location. The pool looks like it hasn’t been used in years- completely empty and the liner is ripping off. There was no access to the hot tub at all so we couldn’t even look at it. This site also advertised showers for campers. There is literally one single shower for the entire campground and it’s inside the lodge. No seperate shower house. We were pleased to find a clean coin operated washer and dryer for our laundry. Last, there isn’t any type of quiet hour here. The lodge hosted a large wedding the Sunday night we were there. People were hollering and carrying on at all hours of the night. There was even a full on drunk fist fight right outside of our camper. The man who lost laid completely unconscious on the gravel in front of our camper until his very drunk girlfriend was able to drag him down the road back to this cabin. Oh, this is after she SCREAMED at the other man for about 5 minutes.
