It's a Wonderful Place Cozy Log Cabin"

Escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature at our cozy log cabin. With no cell reception, it's the perfect opportunity to unplug and reconnect with the serene surroundings. Don't worry, though; we offer satellite wifi for your convenience.

This historic 700 sq ft log cabin has been thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and charm. Situated on 30 acres, it boasts breathtaking mountain views and a privately marked hike on our private mountain.

Outside, you'll find a fenced yard complete with a picnic table, hammock, and propane fire stand, ideal for relaxing and taking in the tranquil atmosphere. Additionally, we're conveniently located across the road from the scenic Poudre River.

Just 3.7 miles away, you'll find the renowned Mishawaka Bar Restaurant + Amphitheater, offering entertainment and delicious dining options. Plus, with three trailheads within a 3-mile radius, adventure is right at your doorstep.

For those craving city amenities, Fort Collins' Old Town is a short 25-minute drive away, where you can explore local dining and boutique shops to your heart's content.

ENJOY a Large fully equipped Community Kitchen, Port a Pot, Outdoor shower (Seasonal, Oct? (freezing-June), One Large Community Firepit (at the Kitchen), Internet (Verizon/Sprint or Wifi), Camp tables. Prairie Land with a hidden Labrinth, Horses, Chickens, Farming and a dog named Brandon our ranch dog that will likely greet you! 

 - Please prepare to be Fully Self Contained & *Self Sufficient.  No Office. Drive to the Prairie or the Shady Tree row and grab a picnic table of your choice. Message Christine when you arrive and depart.

Exact location is displayed after booking but here is a clue! 2 miles east of I-25 / Exit 16. Search: Tractor Supply, Cheyenne, WY.  Please make your reservations online, prior to arrival. 

Check In 12-2AM Check out 1200ish- flexible! Late Arrivals are OK! but! No calls after 9PM. All directions are given at time of booking, and there are lights with signage. Our house is Orange and we have 16 panels of Solar.

We Do Not have a dump station or hookups. This is Rustic, Primitive, Boondocking, Dry Camping. Deep well water is available.

Dumping any sewage or grey water is Prohibited by Law, $500 fine.

Free-range chickens closer to the house. Run dogs on the back 10 if they are overly curious or chasing chickens. 

Quiet Generator, 60 decibels or less. No Loud Gens allowed for more than 2 hours, off by 9PM on at 7AM.

22 miles to Kurt Gowdy State Park where you can rent a kayak or go for a hike to the Hidden Falls, Vedauwoo (Vee dah voo) hiking trails. Check out the Bunk House Bar and Grill for a great food with a western experience.

7 miles to Wyoming State Capital and the yummy Rib and Chop House, in the heart of downtown, Cheyenne

3 miles to gas, 5 miles to Groceries and fast food

2.5 to The Little Bear / The Brand Bar - the back of the Steak House. Local Beef n beer, great food!

WINTER CAMPING: ASK/Message about the Indoor shower at the Guest House ($5 bucks, includes towels and soaps or bring your own $3 bucks).

From our property you will see the Wyoming Sunrises and Sunsets at their BEST.Learn more about this land:Cliffs, Brush, Cows, Horses, Hiking, Nearby lakes, Old west history. Prairie grass.Off the beaten path but easily accessible. End of a county road that lends itself to a private  and secluded stay. Great sunsets and sunrises. 

Terry Bison Ranch Resort

Terry Bison Ranch has a history all the way back to the 1800's.

 The ranch was once owned by F. E. Warren (The first governor of the state of Wyoming).

 President Teddy Roosevelt was also a guest at the ranch and a picture of him in the main house, hangs on the wall in the Senators Steakhouse.

Terry Bison Ranch Resort is a functioning bison ranch with adventures to explore.  We have a bison train tour that takes you out to feed the bison, a steak house, horseback trail rides,  and plenty of animals to look at.  The dry camping is in the fields surrounding the park.

Silent "P" Ranch

My family and I built up this peice of property in the summer of 2016, we purchased it as land only and have done everything you will find here today! My husband and I built the barn and all structures! The house was the last thing to get finished, we moved in March of 2020. We raise Cattle and Bernedoodle dogs. And also enjoy training horses and competing with the Mustang Heritage Foundation. If you walk around you will see many American Mustangs! We hope you enjoy the fantastic views and the peaceful surroundings as we do!!

Redstone Ridge RV Ranch

Over 800 acres of land! Mountain scenery, wildlife and rare bird sightings, serenity and beauty. Where the buffalo really roamed! The movie Centennial was filmed on our place! Hike to your heart's content, or mountain bike, fish and enjoy natural waterfalls less than 2 miles up the road. Sharing the beauty of our land is our greatest desire. We provide beautiful prairie sites for Class A, Class C, RV, trailer, Euro, Van stays! No Tent camping, must be self-contained.

Open space near our place: Eagle's Nest, Red Mountain and Soapstone Prairie.

When we are not in a fire-ban, we will supply a fire-pit, BUT, you MUST bring your own fire extinguisher. We charge for wood, $15 a bundle--it’s over $300 a cord now!!!

Less than 43 miles from Laramie and Cheyenne, and only a half hour drive to Fort Collins.

NO toilets or showers are provided!

RV PARKING: 5 sites! Sites 1-5 allow pets and kids. Water hook ups in sites 4, and 5. Site 7  &; 8 has shade from 6:30 pm on., but can only be booked without kids or pets. Yes you can group 1&2 or 7&8 for larger bookings. All sites are 75 yards or more apart! Each site has a table, fire-pit, and chairs. All rigs welcome! (No showers or toilets.)

We are strict on arrival time, please be here before 7:30PM no later. We will not place you after dark on our land. Check out is before 10 a.m.

You can book a fishing tour with professional guides down the Poudre, or simply just set up on our property. You can also visit two horseback-riding stables close by if you want a trail ride. Yes, we have waterfalls 3 miles down the road. All info provided when you arrive and meet. We’ll have a packet with lots of info for you upon arrival.

We love to share our land, the wildlife and birds are beautiful each day!

Our hope is that at the end of the day, your hands and feet should be dirty, your hair a royal mess, and your soul singing!
