The Hill is a private forested camp area that was originally made for a large group of friend's annual party. Spanning 4 acres on top, there is space for campers including 30 amp plug-ins, tents, and has buildings on-site for groups if needed. We also an add on of a simple rental glamper we call the Sugar Shack (listed as an Extra). The variety of trees, open space, and a group areas including fire pit, horseshoes/bags, and walking paths make the Hill a beloved getaway. Elroy/Sparta trail is 4 miles away that you can reach on the 400 trail just 1.2 miles from Hill. Golf course in town, paddle on Baraboo, fish/swim at Dutch Hollow, or hike at Wildcat --all within 15 miles.

Yeng was great- solid communication before and after our stay.
While the weather was rought, our family enjoyed the novelty of glamping on the 'ship'. Our accomodations were warm and cozy despite night temps in the 30's, and we loved playing cards and hanging out in the small galley. It was also a plus to have the Dells nearby for activites during a rainy day.

The site is beautiful in Autumn and very quiet except for occasional traffic. Bill was very friendly and clearly shows pride in his ancestral land. He has hand crafted a beautiful building as a replica of a lodge in Yellowstone. The entire area in that part of Wisconsin is visually outstanding.

Charming efficiency stay, this tiny house was a great hub for exploring the Dells and Devil's Lake. We nearly had the whole campground to ourselves in early October. The tiny house had a small fridge, range top and coffee maker, TV/DVD player we didn't use and the queen bed up top was cozy. Outdoor shower and sinks indoors had very limited hot water but the restrooms were very clean and comfortable.

It's a beautiful and private camping area appropriately--thus the name--on a steep hill. Bill is most patient and accommodating with all details! We have Verizon and we actually got reception (none in Union Center) up there! We bicycled the side roads (which had little traffic & were beautiful) & also went on the bike trail in Union Center. We will be back!

We absolutely loved staying at The Hill on “the point” as Bill told us our site was called. Bill has taken such great care to make The Hill feel welcoming, fun, safe, and easy for campers to feel a sense of home as well as foster community between other campers. The “folder” he gave us with local info, history of The Hill, helpful camping hints, etc. was such a sweet touch and we spent so much time reading all of the materials he provided about the area. Wood was dry and plentiful, he had already gathered kindling for us, bathroom was clean and accessible, directions to the site were easy to follow, and communication was excellent. We had such a nice time and wish we could have stayed longer!! For us cross country road trippers, this was the best camp we’ve stayed at so far on this trip. Thank you, Bill and Kari!!!

The pirate ship was so fun for the kids! They found the costumes and props and spent hours in dramatic play. Grown ups got a chance to kick back and enjoy the show. The two cabins have heaters and we were very comfortable overnight.

We loved our stay! Such a cool property! We were hoping for better weather but the pirate ship was equipped with a heater which kept us plenty warm. Cool trails to walk, and lots of imaginative play with our boys! We got to be pirates for the weekend. Very clean bathrooms! Will need your own bedding or sleeping bags. Kitchen was equipped with a microwave, fridge and essential dishes. The bunks and main room are two separate rooms and spaces. We just moved the bunk mattresses to the floor in the main space to keep us in one space. Definitely stay here!
