Bought to get grounded W.H.Y. did I purchase this 5 acres of land? This is my personal property I bought so I could get grounded while being surrounded by nature. Worth Healing Yourself is W.H.Y I invested in this land as well as myself! Enjoy rock hunting for agates, jasper, hematite, petrified wood and other mineral specimens. Property is 25 minutes from Richland Center. 30 minutes from Wisconsin Dells. Public land with miles of trout stream 3 miles away from the propertyy. The 400 State Trail is 7 miles away from property for bicyclists. Public road ATV and UTV trails surround WHY. Both Lake Redstone and Dutch Hollow Lake are 10 miles away. The Baraboo and Pine River are within 10 miles. The famous Bunker Hill Tavern that hosts the cannon run is 1 mile away! Local village of Cazenovia offers two small town Tavern’s that serve food and good company. There is also a convenient store and small grocery store located in the village as well. One of the first farms in the area, dating back to 1860’s. Grainery is believed to be the oldest building, followed by the house. The original house was a log cabin and added onto making it into 2 story house today. The current Barn was built in the early 1900’s. The property was once dairy farm, and plant nursery. Enjoy the trails and the lawn around the barn. Be cautious of stinging neetle. Many birds; morning doves, thrushes, catbirds, green herons, gold finches and many more are seen. I would definitely stay up there again. Lots of privacy and the train running not far by peaceful in its own right. I heard coyotes in the distance and a screech owl pretty close. It is also a great place to look at the stars.

The hospitality that Afton provided was impeccable, by far the best I’ve experienced with Hipcamp and I use Hipcamp a lot. Not only was she a great host but a super cool gal as well and she put me onto one of the best local fishing spots too. 10/10 would recommend and I would 100% stay here again and you should too!

The site I had was great to park my teardrop camper. Peaceful solitude. There was a toilet room but I had my own. It looked clean and organized. A little noisy at peak times as it is on a corner of a well used hwy H. Other than that I heard owls talking to each other. Very cool. Recommend.

Campground was super nice and well maintained. Staff were excellent and very helpful. No shade at site 239 so it got a little hot in July. Had some pretty noisy neighbors behind us for two nights and some loud ones next to us in the morning but didn’t ruin the trip! Would definitely recommend this campground! (also loved the kitties running around :)

This is an intimate little place, really quite lovely in the farm yard. More appropriate for tents (we had a teardrop that was difficult to situate). Never met the hosts - I think they were away, we didn't see lights in the house or any activity. Electric cord provided was not long enough to reach site, even with my own extension. A nice place to overnight.

I loved the beautiful and private setting we had behind the barn. Site had electricity to run a box fan I brought which was a life saver since the 4th of July weekend was HOT. it was nice to just pull up in our van and have a fire pit with chairs and table to use. Firewood was even available. All we had to do is fill up and deflate our air beds each day and go. Would never do the traditional hauling everything but the kitchen sink camping again. There was abundant wildlife to enjoy was well. Highly recommend coming for a stay.
