Weekend Trip to Purplehaze Acres

I planned an impromptu getaway and Darryl was wonderful about the last minute notice. It WAS a little more “rustic” than I had planned but it was still great. A much needed peaceful and relaxing trip!

Super nice area! Spacious and lots of camp sites to offer. Staying in the cabin was really cozy. The stove and usb charging was really nice. Wood burning to stay warm, was something new that we enjoyed.

Yeng was great- solid communication before and after our stay.
While the weather was rought, our family enjoyed the novelty of glamping on the 'ship'. Our accomodations were warm and cozy despite night temps in the 30's, and we loved playing cards and hanging out in the small galley. It was also a plus to have the Dells nearby for activites during a rainy day.

Peaceful Getaway on Beautiful Green Lake 🌿
We loved our stay at this cozy cabin on Green Lake! The cabin was spotless, comfortable, and perfect for our family. The hosts thought of everything — from a welcoming coffee and snack basket to fire pits already prepped for us. We enjoyed kayaking on the lake, walking the peaceful paths, and relaxing under the stars at night. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. A wonderful mix of comfort and nature — we can’t wait to come back!

We really loved staying at the Tiny house (cabin). My 3 year old son didn't want to leave. This was our 1st time camping at an off grid cabin and it was a cool experience. Everything inside the cabin worked. The lights, gas stove, wood stove and the water pump. Also, 1st time using a composting toilet. It worked out well. Outside, there's a fire pit, some chairs, picnic table, gas grill and a charcoal grill. We got to meet Darryl and Linda, and they were very welcoming.

Cabin and amenities were clean and as depicted. We were comfortable as a family of four at the cabin and campground. We enjoyed having the fire pit and chairs (we didn’t find matches but brought our own). The weather didn’t cooperate but the dock and kayaks were really neat and we wish we had stayed an extra day. We thought the grounds and chapel were great and we anticipate coming back again :)

This was our third time camping on Darryl’s land, and our second time staying at the tiny cabin at his stone ridge location. We were super impressed with the upgrades made since our last stay. It was clean, with clear instruction. Every time we stay there we drive away saying, “best stay yet!”

Another wonderful weekend at this tiny cabin! We appreciated the extra firewood already at the site and the addition of a little store for any small items you may have forgotten or need like bug spray, first aid kits, emergency ponchos, lighters, charcoal, etc etc.

I had a great time staying in the cabin at natures touch the pool and the bathrooms there were very clean same with the cabin.
The cabin has AC a microwave and fridge would recommend staying here

The pirate ship was so fun for the kids! They found the costumes and props and spent hours in dramatic play. Grown ups got a chance to kick back and enjoy the show. The two cabins have heaters and we were very comfortable overnight.

Mark's cabin was very pleasant. It was behind his house, so if help was needed, he was available by text, or his son was. There was a nice fire stove, and a nice fire put behind the cabin. Be aware though, there is a composting toilet, so you have to make sure you don't make it overflow, or else it wouldn't be such a nice experience cleaning up. Water was based out of containers, which you would need to refill in the house (literally 2 seconds from the cabin). The property is beautiful, my dog loved seeing the beautiful birds that fly by the bird feeders, the deer and the wild turkeys. Beds were quite comfortable. Electricity and WIFI is available in the cabin, which is awesome. There's also a nice little train across the street, which i enjoyed picking flowers on!
