Coal trains run daily right by our property and often sound their horns for a friendly wave. There are plenty of places to hike or take a peaceful walk—we have acres of land to explore. The sunrises and sunsets here are some of the best in the state, and the mountain views are truly breathtaking.
We offer full hook-up RV sites with water, sewer, electricity, and Wi-Fi, as well as plenty of primitive spots for tent, car, or dry camping. Come visit us and experience all the Appalachian Mountains have to offer while staying in the heart of it all.

Our goal is to create another business that not only creates a place to come have a great time. It's our goal to create a campground in our hometown area of Ashland KY, Huntington WV, and Southern OH where our team members are able to work and live a great life.
Our mission is to take the rewards of our campground business and then "Spread Kindness" throughout the community to all. Especially to those families with kids that are fighting for a better tomorrow, but just can't seem to get ahead. We will announce our weeklong kids camp one day in the very near future and the partnerships we're creating that will impact young lives right here in our community. We are not perfect, but we never give up. We change direction, but we never lose sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. This place isn't just our dream. Oasis Point is for you. Experience our small and private RV sites in a quiet location in the rural town of Rush, near Ashland KY. We provide full hook ups with 30 amp electric connection, water, and sewage. We also provide wifi throughout the property.
We are an 8 minute drive from Rush Off-Road - a 7,000 acre off-road park with over 100 miles of trails with new trails being opened up regularly.
The RV sites can accommodate up to a 50 ft RV or trailer as well as parking for an additional car or truck. The site dimensions are 30ft wide by 60ft long.
Your RV/trailer must be self-contained as we do not have a toilet onsite. The sites are flat and guests will have to back-in.
Pets are welcome but you must keep them on leash.
Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban.

This is a funky little spot, don't be put off by the drive in. Mike has created a number (5?) of leveled gravel full hook up sites pretty close together, but very nice. Sweet communal fire pit right on a deck overlooking a little river. Fantastic bathroom with running hot water and shower! We would definitely camp here again. Thank you Mike.

We arrived to our campsite and had the entire mountain top to choose our site. Zero light pollution and open view to the entire night sky. Just minutes from town but you couldn’t tell that from our location. Torren met us at the site and was accommodating to anything we needed. Absolutely a 5 STAR campsite and host. You will love this place.

The site was well maintained and the retreat wasn't crowded with too many camping spots. Almost zero road noise so evenings were very peaceful. A wonderful experience. West Virginia might be almost Heaven, but Mike’s place is Heaven. Do your dog a favor and take them to Camp Comatose. The hospitality is over the top .
It is a little tricky to get to Mike’s place , but worth the challenge .

Very family oriented! The owner has a few family members with their campers there and everyone is amazing. I forgot propane and they let me use their grill in a heart beat. Owner is very nice and the site has water and full electric hookup. Everyone is really laid back in would highly recommend it here!

We had a great time at Buck Run Retreat! Daniel & Daniel Jr. were amazing hosts, shared some of their garden tomatoes, and the site was beautiful. We really appreciated the full (water/electric/septic) hookup, and hiking the trails. We had great neighbors and it was a perfect weekend getaway. We'll definitely be back again!!
