Springtime is a gorgeous time of year up here and turkey season is a favorite! Ample room for boats/trailers if you are considering hitting Drano lake for some springer salmon fishing! Sleeping Beauty trail is just a few minutes away and you are within 30 minutes or Hood River if you are looking to explore and check out wineries. There are cheese caves, ice caves, Goose Lake, Council Lake and so much more! Fall is one of my favorite seasons! Hood River fishery has been amazing and the fall colors can't be beat! There is a fire pit and campfires are welcome when there is not a burn ban. Trout Lake Inn is a local favorite up here and check their Facebook to see what live entertainment they have coming up. Pets are welcome - please make sure they are well behaved and are kept close to the cabin. I do have my own friendly dogs (Ruby and Muskett) on the property, but they do not have access to the cabin area. Come enjoy the mountain air - it is good for the soul! **No parties - limit of 2 adult guests and up to 2 children. No illegal drugs. All of the cabins are unique and special with different features to fit almost anyone's needs. All of the cabins feature new and very comfortable queen-sized beds, and all come with their own BBQ grill. Satellite television and free WiFi internet service is available to all guests in each unit. Rustic propane fire places have been installed in each cabin along with air conditioning units to make sure our guests are warm and cozy on the coldest winter nights as well as cool and comfortable on those hot summer days. Parking is ample within steps of each of the cabins and is more than big enough to fit snowmobile trailers, horse trailers, RVs, or any other toys you may want to bring along for your trip. Trout Lake Cozy Cabins was formerly known as Serenity's, named after the restaurant that sat on the property. The Restaurant burned down a number of years ago. Since the restaurant building was rebuilt, we have been excited to have Mt. Adams Pizza on our property for the last 4 years. There are also a number of places to eat within a mile of the cabins including Mount Adams Pizza, the Trout Lake Hall, Post Office Coffee, and the Station Cafe. The Mount Adams Ranger District is a great resource for additional information about the area and recreational activities. Of course, having grown up in the area, we are always happy to answer any questions you may have or provide you with a "local's" tip/suggestions. Don't be shy, we are very friendly people and will go out of our way to make sure you have a memorable stay with us!

Welcome to Rainier Explorer Cabin in beautiful Packwood, the gateway to Mount Rainier National Park and home to White Pass Ski Resort! The cabin is located in High Valley Country club and is a 5 minute drive to downtown Packwood, 10 miles from the Mount Rainier National park entrance, 20 minutes to White Pass Ski Resort, and is the gateway to Gifford Pinchot National Forest and Goat Rocks Wilderness. The property is heavily treed within the scenic neighborhood. Currently, the property is not fenced and neighbors are visible in the fashion of a regular neighborhood (cabin is not alone in the middle of the woods please note) a wood privacy fence will be added before summer, but currently the neighbor to the left is in very close proximity though the neighboring cabin is vacant during the winter.

This property was calm, clean and offered us privacy, nature, a place to cook, showers and a hot tub. The camping locations are spread out and we didn’t mind the quick stroll to reach the various amenities. It took us about little more than an hour to visit Mt. rainier and offered a view on the river as well. We hope to come again.

We loved the trailer site right beside the Butter Creek. The sound of babbling creek was incredibly soothing. Shelly came out to meet us and get us situated, Joe was there when we had a question. We left daily to go to the national park and felt secure in leaving everything. Shelly provided great laundry facilities on the last day and we took chairs and lunch down to the creek. It is full sun but with full hookup we were not uncomfortable. Wonderful hosts and location!

Peaceful setting in a golf course community perfect for dog walks. Large site is close to the small town with gas, groceries, restaurants and breweries. The area is surrounded by National forests. And of course, there is Mt Ranier.
