Located about an hour from Olympia, Tacoma and the Olympic National Forest. It is a perfect place to unwind on the well maintained land while still being able to access the many outdoor activities nearby and explore the cool historic towns of Centralia and Chehalis as well. Learn more about this land: 2 sites in an open field and 1 site in the trees just 10 minutes from I-5, but a world away from the traffic. Perfect for tent camping and overnight rests in most any vehicle. Views of the Willapa Hills on a well maintained property. Guests are greeted upon arrival. Check in before dark is required. **New this season: We have transformed an old kennel into a cozy cabin! I loved my visit to the Harstine Hoopla! There weren’t any other visitors during my stay, so me and my two dogs had a very quiet, pleasant visit. The access to the beach a big reason I chose this spot, and it was perfect! They’ve got a wonderful property, I might just have to visit again.

Quiet place easy to find. Great tent and bed. Enjoyed not have to put up our tent. Very nice hosts. Access to the beach very steep and a little dicy using ropes to get threw one place. But we did it!

This is truly a hidden gem. The property is well maintained and Scott is an excellent host! He went above and beyond to make sure to show me around and explain all the amenities. The cabin was immaculate with little touches that made it so comfortable. I will definitely be coming back!

Weekend Trip to Camper in the Firs

A cute and simple spot that is so convenient for river swimming and exploring Mt. St. Helens! The deck is the best part and we spent most of our time out there both morning and night. Also a great spot for bird watching in the morning with coffee. Loved the small TV with a collection of classic movies. Without potable water it was rustic but we couldn’t have asked for much more. Road noise wasn’t an issue as the traffic dropped off around 9pm. Saw a Bald Eagle and even an owl! Thanks Tristan and Liz.

1970 original condition Silver Streak Sabre. A 24' vintage survivor. I restore and sell vintage trailers. This one, I am sharing on hipcamp for a limited time. Come back again to stay in possibly my next restoration.

Weekend Trip to Island Base Camp

A very cute, cozy, and clean stay! Angie was very accommodating and the all amenities were very clean and tidy. Love the vintage vibe of the trailer and lots of land for our dog to stretch his legs on. Located on the owner's property but very private. Separate outdoor toilet which was incredibly clean, rustic outdoor space equipped with seating, BBQ etc. My only suggestion is to use fragrance-free detergent on the linens (it was very strong but indicated they were very clean!). Great deck, super cute and efficient camper. Would definitely recommend for 2 people and possibly child or dogs. Deck is fenced and large but on a somewhat busy road. Beautiful area and town is cute.

Great place with cool decor. Camper new on the inside. It says it's on an acre, but not like you think. No where for the dog to potty, except in the parking spot. It's right on the road also. Luckily there is a park nearby so we could walk the dog. Bring a discover pass. We saw lots of birds and bats! Also a Beaver!! Would definitely stay again.
