All the spots that I would recommend visiting can be found in the Welcome Guide upon your arrival. Important things to know: - Staying in this home means you are staying within nature. Deer are regularly around the property, or can be seen in the woods during your drive up. Please be respectful to them. There has been the occasional bear sighting, so please be aware. There is bear spray in the property, but I have only seen a bear twice and have been able to scare it away with a tap on the window! My space is surrounded by woods and forest, and though I treat the exterior to keep out pests, there are all sorts of creatures great and small, including insects and mice, which unfortunately can be a reality of nature for all the homes up on the hill. Please take into consideration that my home may not be a right fit for those who are extremely phobic of these and other wildlife, but for others, it can bring enjoyment. Please take a look at my house rules to familiarize yourself with the do's and dont's, especially if you will be using this space for a larger entertainment gathering. When it gets icy, it is not recommend to drive the driveway, but parking at the bottom and walking up through the pasture is what I do to get home! There is an electronic lockbox for your convenience that will let you into the house with a special code that I will email to you once the property is booked and you are confirmed to be arriving. Your GPS may take you a slightly different route. I will email instructions on the easiest way to the lodge. There will also be signs to 'Pentoria Lodge' to follow for easier directions. Other things to note There are deer, squirrels, rabbits, owls, and other critters that may roam the property as the log home is surrounded by forest and is home to many creatures great and small. Some of the tiny ones may get into the house from time to time. Refunds cannot be granted because of a spider, fly, wasp, mouse, or any woodland critter. I strive to keep the property as thoroughly clean as possible with monthly pest control to mitigate the chances of seeing any creatures in the property and appreciate your full understanding should an insect or critter make a small appearance. Weekend Trip to Ascent Basecamp

We camped at Ascent Basecamp in mid October and enjoyed our stay that we booked again this last weekend in mid November despite the pouring rain each time because of the beautiful riverside setting and shared covered kitchen with the essential wood stove made it that cozy! The drive to experience the fall leaves and a visit to Leavenworth were calling! I actually loved the trains across the highway and the river sounds which drown out any traffic noise from the highway. The camp caretakers were all helpful and the sauna experience was great the second time after the wood was sorted.

We stayed at Natalie’s for three days and it was an amazing, magical place in a quiet neighbourhood. We visited in November and believe me, the foliage season is just the best here. The convenient location near shops, a gas station, and an outlet also adds to the overall experience. The host was amazing and the place was incredible!

We had a nice overnight stay, arriving after dark on short-notice. Host greeted us and helped us park. You camp next to a large garage. Site was mostly level (with what felt like a slight lean away from the garage). Quiet area , with the exception of train horns a few miles away.

Weekend Trip to Ascent Basecamp

Instructions for arrival were great. We got to campsite after sunset, in the middle of rain, after hiking Colchuck Lake. Finding site was easy, and description is accurate. Was a little concerned about possibility of traffic noise, but Mark was spot on, you won’t hear a thing! Waking up the next morning to the sound of the river was awesome. Really nice. Secluded/private, nice riverbed to explore, awesome view and the constant sound of the river to fall asleep to is top notch. Solar lights add a nice touch but the hot tub took the cake. As advertised, plenty of cookware provided, gas AND charcoal plus fire pit. You don't need to bring a tent or kitchen. This is glamping!

We loved the privacy and location of this site. Although it was on the pricey side, the amenities and convenience of having everything essential there for us felt worth it. Our dog loved it here too. We will definitely be returning.

Great spot. Vanessa’s set up really makes it easy to enjoy camping without all the levels of packing and preparing. You can easily roll up with food and clothing and enjoy the full setup and thoughtful touches. 👍🏽👍🏽

Absolutely a beautiful setting far away from the rat race of life, wife and I are so syked for this place to open up, having a local spot to camp while we play in the mountains, and let’s not forget the beautiful barrel sauna in the river. We walked along the other sites and really enjoyed how they are all different in settings, some are so close to the river, that we will be back soon on our next hike. Everything was absolutely perfect for us. Great place for sure, highly recommend for summer and really stocked for the winter snow..

Weekend Trip to City Scape Homestead w/ Hot Tub

Great location with an awesome view of the downtown Seattle skyline. We were visiting our friends in downtown, who live in a condo and so no mooch-camping possible! This worked out well for our 2 night stay only 15 minutes or so from downtown. As described, the site was a little uneven so we did use a couple of leveling blocks. We had no trouble fitting our 24 foot camper into and onto the parking pad on the side of their house, but it may be difficult to fit anything much larger thru the tight 90° turn from the driveway onto the parking pad. Our hosts responded quickly to our reservation request and were very responsive, personable and professional. Would not hesitate to return again if in the area.

1 night at City Scape Homestead w/ Hot Tub

Ana's spot was perfect for my needs. The parking pad has plenty of space, so I didn't feel crowded between the house and the bushes in my Honda Passport. The view from the backyard is amazing. It was easy to get an Uber to Benaroya Hall for a concert I was attending and easy to get one back to Ana's house. Ana was easy to communicate with and I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our two nights at Ana's. The view. The quiet. Ana's attention to detail. She so kindly accommodated my special request on our final night. Plus, her spot is a mere four miles from the heart of West Seattle. It was perfect. It will be perfect again when we return for our next visit.

We looooved staying at this Seattle parking pad! Ana was so kind and helpful. We took an Uber into downtown Seattle for the day and enjoyed our evenings in the lovely yard with an amazing view and sweet goats! I am so grateful that we found this spot!
