Each site has power,, water, wifi and its” own Sanikan Porta potty. Campsites are about 100 yards apart (football field). So you can expect a level of privacy. Also each site has an additional power water hook up if you want to drag another family with you this vacation. So far so good? Please read on and don’t forget to read some reviews. .Our 16 acre private riverfront property is located on the Dungeness River just outside the city of Sequim in Clallam County on the Olympic Peninsula. There are just two very large campsites. Each site can accommodate two RV’s or just a bunch of tents. You will have full access to the parcel allowing you to explore or just hang out at the river. We are pet friendly. Well behaved dogs can be off leash this vacation The nearest towns are Port Angeles, Port Townsend, Victoria B.C., and Sequim where you’ll find restaurants, wineries, and more. The nearest attractions are Olympic National Park, Hurricane Ridge, Olympic Discovery Trail, Ferry Dock to Victoria B.C., Lake Crescent, and Hoh Rainforest where you can enjoy activities such as: boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, winter activities, hiking, biking, etc. Also, you can ride directly from the campsite to some fabulous mountain biking trails at Dungeness Trails. PLEASE NOTE, Both sites are equipped with an additional RV parking spot right on the river with 30 amp power and Wifi for an additional $45.00 per night. 1.5 acre plot located west of Port Townsend near Cape George and Discovery Trail. This forest meadow is a peaceful, private spot to rest and relax when you are not having adventures on the Olympic Peninsula. Perfect for RVs, Camper Trailers, Vans, and Tents! The entire property is rented as a single camp site, so there is maximum privacy and solitude compared to a multi-site venue like Ft Worden State Park. Green Acre Camp is located in a semi-residential, semi-rural area of unincorporated Port Townsend, only 10-15 min drive to main restaurants, grocery stores, and attractions of downtown Port Townsend. RV power pedestal with 30a, 50a, and standard 20a/120v plugs. Pack-in, Pack-out; there is no toilet, sink, or shower. Large vehicles/trailers/5th wheels are welcome! Enter the property on private dirt road connected to Hastings Ave and you may park anywhere in the upper field immediately on left when you enter the driveway. There is a locked shed that houses the well pump, and you can use the water spigot and hose. Water is potable lab tested. Property is shaped like a triangle with Hastings Ave. There is tree cover along Hastings and shared driveway at bottom edge of the triangle. As you continue down the driveway a few hundred yards, you approach neighbor's fence and property line. Main camp site is the “upper field” where there is room for parking and power/water connections. This is conveniently level with the main road and flat. There is “lower field” that is a trimmed grass field right corner next to the driveway, Finally the “back field” is large, grass field and a fire ring across the northern half of the property. The back field has an unused septic system underground, so we leave the grass and vegetation longer here to attract wildlife and preserve the infrastructure for potential future use. No vehicles allowed in back field. In the middle of the property is a grove of pine and cedar trees with thick, native salal bushes and rhododendrons crisscrossed with paths created by humans and the local deer population. Driveway is shared by neighboring property so wave and smile if our neighbors walk or drive out to the main road, and please be respectful of their property line and follow the local culture of 'live and let live'.

Carson Creek Estate is set on 20 rural acres in the heart of Lake Samish. Mother Nature provides a stunning backdrop with a view of look out mountain. We offer meadows, creeks, trails and forest; which create a flexible outdoor space for camping. The camping area is in a private grass field. We have a Barndominum next door that is rented separately. There are multiple areas to ride bikes. Around Lake Samish, Galbraith Mountain, Lake Padden, Squires Lake and so much more (all within 10 minutes of the property). There is a public park at the northwest corner of Lake Samish (5 minute car ride) you can swim in the lake.

4. Thurston's Landing

This RV spot very private and quiet. The owners use the main mobile home only seasonally as a vacation home. Across the yard from the mobile home is the RV spot. It's long enough for a large RV (with slide-outs) as well as your car or truck. Comes with sewer, power, water. You are welcome to use the fenced-in yard and your pet is welcome too. Enjoy quiet evenings around the propane firepit and watch the sunset. Restaurants are about 1.5 miles north and the State Park is 1 mile south. Strong WiFi is included in the rent. A property manager lives in the neighborhood and is available for any questions or concerns. Coin-op laundry room is a short stroll to the neighbor's property. The ideal renter will want to stay monthly, or for the whole winter season.

This was such a lovely and well taken care of campground. The little gazebo that has been built there was wonderful and the property was beautiful, with a little walking trails and a nice river right next to the campsite. There is plenty of space for pets to roam around and the campsite feels nice and secluded. We would definitely go back!

Such a lovely view of the river right outside our trailer windows. As other reviewers have mentioned, I've never seen a cleaner portapotty. Made it very easy to extend your stay by extending your black tank storage capacity. Just as pictured. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing! Saw bald eagles, herons, gulls, and deer. 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Awesome spot! Well thought out - lots of space between sites so it’s very private and tons of space to spread out. I also appreciate that we had our own bathroom for our site that was super clean. The river was beautiful and we enjoyed seeing deer and eagles. I would most definitely return

The best camping site we have been to by far. Rich has the most beautiful land and has thought of everything anyone may need for a leisurely camping experience. It was so clean and beautiful and private. So many trails, several smaller streams connecting to or from the main river. There's a little bridge and so much more. He obviously is in love with the land and with sharing it. I mean the gravel was raked when we got there. He provides a staked down line for our dog to be able to roam securely. The water and electricity were great and the internet provided me with the ability to send and receive text and emails for work. The port a potty’s were clean and even smelled good. I could go on and on and we will definitely be back

Nice place to stretch your legs and unwind! The dogs appreciated the extra wiggle room. Only 8-10 mins into the heart of Port Townsend. As noted in the reviews before, the RV spit is right off the road and there is noise but we didn’t find it to be an issue.

Such a wonderful place! Very clean, beautiful river, treed, and has everything you could need. Might I say that the Saniclean was nearly immaculate??? It was so nice to be able to sit by the river with a big campfire with friends. It was a perfect getaway.

This was our second trip to Dick’s Last Resort (prior stay June 2024). We loved it just as much the second time. Plenty of space/privacy. The picnic shelter with electric hook up is great for us since we have a small pop up and do all our cooking outside. Access to potable water and the port-a-potty are also essential. The kids love playing and exploring around camp. We discovered a nice spot to pick blackberries by the river this time:) We also appreciate the proximity to Sequim and we did the Olympic Game Farm for fun this go-round. Thanks Richard!

This camping site is so clean from the grounds to the saniKan!! I was a little nervous about the saniKan but it was so clean!! Richard was accommodating and quick to respond. The natural springs and creek were such a delight and watching all the little fish while sitting on the bridge. The river and trails were fun to explore. I even took a nice crisp swim in the river. Close enough to run to town if need be and far enough to feel submerged in nature. After posting pics on Facebook all of our friends and family are wanting to know where this gem is at!! We will be back and I’m sure with friends and family!! Thank you so much for the wonderful memories!!

Where to go

Orcas Island

Orcas Island is the biggest island in the San Juans, and has plenty of amenities, including restaurants, museums, shops, and camping options. It’s also home to the largest of Washington’s state parks—Moran State Park—a fantastic place for hiking, and boating. Tent and RV camping is available in the park, but campers need to secure reservations ahead of time. If you have your own boat, you can also visit nearby Sucia Island Marine State Park, an uninhabited, pristine spot directly north of Orcas Island.

San Juan Island

San Juan Island is popular among adventurers and history lovers, and the San Juan Island National Historical Park is a must-visit for anyone who wants to learn about the Pig War, a boundary dispute between Britain and the U.S. that all started because of a trespassing pig. The park is for day use only, but you'll find tent and RV sites at San Juan County Park on the west side of San Juan Island, overlooking Haro Straight, and at the San Juan County Fairgrounds.

Lopez Island

The third-most populated island in the chain, Lopez Island offers 63 miles of shoreline and a mix of forests, farmlands, galleries, and boutiques. The island is popular among cyclists, with quiet, mostly flat roads, and has a few great places to camp, including Spencer Spit State Park, which has reservable and hiker/biker sites, a dump station, flush toilets, but no hookups or showers, and Odlin County Park has seven RV sites for vehicles less than 30-feet-long, but no hookups.

Shaw Island

Shaw Island is the smallest of the four main San Juan Islands that are accessible by ferry, with a year-round population of only around 200 people. You can camp at Shaw County Park, which offers 11 tent camping sites, a boat launch, picnic tables, and fire pits. Island facilities are limited, but there is a general store by the ferry landing where you can buy food and supplies.
