July-August can get very dry some years, which means the grass goes dormant and dust starts to fly. Farm=Dirt MAX STAY IS 14 DAYS. This is a very private and quiet place, more of a sanctuary and not a party place. The only thing you hear is nature, a breeze through the pine trees, the birds, and the creek. This property was and is an organic permaculture farm in the forest. There are two orchards and an organic garden. The water is from a spring. The La Luna cabin is no longer off grid, but if the power does go out, it's a great place to be.. Hot Showers at my cabins are private and outdoors. There's nothing more wonderful than a hot spring-fed shower. The toilets are composting. (No water is wasted here)! Two of the cabins were built from the trees on the property by the first family that lived here in the earlier 1900s. The Birds Nest cabin was originally a tool shed that needed a LOT of Love to be in the condition that it is today. It does have power, running water and wi-fi. There is the option to take an acrylic painting class, banjo, guitar or fiddle lessons, paddleboard lessons, and have a real old-timey campfire with a glass of wine or two with live music performed by our famous Fiddlin Red on the fiddle, banjo, and guitar. Your experience here may change your life forever! We haven't added all the experiential options yet, so if there is something you are interested in please inquire. Every year we make it more and more magical and interesting. It's four miles up a county-maintained dirt road and one mile to a non-motorized lake. I can't see my neighbors, but they are awesome artists and musicians and some of them are off the grid! If you're bringing a pet, they must be on a leash and be quiet pets. If you are bringing a child they also need to be quiet and respectful. I want to keep my neighbors and my other guests happy with a peaceful atmosphere. Thank you!

There are 3 rental spots that are all creek side and next to each other. Lovely and safe neighborhood area with a gate that locks. The large, gravel RV pad is nice & level. A great place to stay over night as we were passing through. This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here. Andre is a great host! Very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Wylie was an amazing host! The property was easy to find, peaceful, and beautifully maintained. Communication was quick and helpful, and Wylie made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The campsite itself was clean, quiet, and had plenty of space to relax and enjoy the outdoors. I just wanted to take a moment to share how incredible our stay was. This was our second visit at such a remarkable place and we decided to share it with our entire family! (which only goes to show how amazing our first trip was!!) From the moment we arrived, Jane and John went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. We decided to have our baby shower here to welcome our son Wolfgang to the pack! Upon arrival Jane & John didn't just welcome us, they made us feel like family. They even set up two canopies for the rain, ensuring we could still celebrate comfortably, which we did! It's rare to find people who genuinely care about your experience the way they do. Everything about the campsite reflected their hard work and dedication to a clean, organized, and beautifully maintained campground, and the hospitality is like no other. You can feel the care, attention, and heart that goes into every detail. This was more than just a stay, it was an experience we'll never forget. Thank you again Jane and Jon, for everything. Weekend Trip to Hidden Acres Orchards

This was a fun experience! We go to Hidden Acres for u-pick every year and never thought to camp there. So happy we did this time! Our kiddos and pups (on-leash of course; pups not kids!) loved exploring the orchards by moonlight, waking up with the animals in the crisp morning, and slept so well in the country air. Because we could pick our spot, all the campers felt quite secluded and like we had the place to ourselves. Even though we had our own trailer having access to a real washroom and an outside shower was a treat. Thanks to the whole team at Hidden Acres for giving us an experience that we come back for every year!

Accommodating is the first thing that comes into my mind. Just willing to spend that extra time to be sure I was all set up. And the site was level enough that I only had to level front to back slightly. You can’t do justice to the view with pictures. If you pass this up its totally your loss.

Barbara welcomed me and showed me the property when I arrived. As advertised, the farm is beautifully surrounded by hillsides and is populated with cows, horses, chickens and a very friendly barn cat. I slept great and I heard some roosters, but they didn’t keep me from sleeping in.

We love the lack of marked sites - just find your patch of land away from others and settle in. You can choose orchard or pumpkin field vibes. The farm store is great, with lots of great artisan foods. Try the breakfast pastries! In the fall the apples are amazing. On a school day you might see a field trip of kids in the play areas or stomping through the fields looking for pumpkins. A few other things: Cell service (we're AT&T) was sometimes okay for streaming, but sometimes switched to a band with no data. It was better at night. The shower is outdoors, open to the sky. Plenty of hot water. The handles are reversed - hot is on the right. Five bucks is a bit steep for a shower, but when you've been boondocking a while, it can be worth it. If you need more water, you can fill containers at an outdoor sink near the store. Across the road from the entrance is The Big Barn, a brewery with good beer, food truck, and live music out on the lawn. Nice atmosphere - we went two afternoons in a row.
