We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads.
Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry).
We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot.
Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk).
Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy.
Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower.
Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk).
Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house.
You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee).
Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis.
Masabaje is a clothing optional space.
We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

We loved camping in Boxcar Annie! It had all the modern conveniences and was sparkling clean. The land was well maintained, quiet, and a short walk from the river. The outdoor patio and propane fire pit was a wonderful surprise and put to use nightly. The host was very responsive and so nice. Would definitely come here again!

Such a lovely stay! The place was serene and secluded while only being a short drive away from Leavenworth and the Enchantments. Candida was a welcoming and accommodating host who took the time to give us a tour of all the amenities that helped make this such a comfortable glamping experience!

We stayed two nights at the Airstream Base next to the Skykomish River, and it was a fantastic glamping “off-grid” experience. The site is just a short walk from the river, pet-friendly (perfect for our dachshund), and the hosts were incredibly hospitable. They’ve thought of everything — from a propane grill to all the little comforts that make the stay easy and relaxing.
The atmosphere was romantic and close to some beautiful sights. The drive in was stunning, and during our stay we explored the historic wooden Baring Bridge, hiked to Barclay Lake, swam in the Skykomish River, and made s’mores by the campfire.
The only downside was some nighttime noise — road traffic, passing trains, and an odd car door closing sound every half hour — but a good pair of earplugs took care of that.
Overall, we can’t wait to come back. Thank you for such a wonderful and memorable stay!

Weekend Trip to R & R Glamping/Leavenworth
Staying in this camper for the weekend was nice. There’s running water, an icebox, a gas stovetop, and electricity. I didn’t have any cell service or WiFi but that didn’t bother us any. It was nice having the table and chairs outside to eat breakfast and enjoy a cup of coffee before our day’s adventures. Only 15 minutes away from Leavenworth.

This was the perfect weekend away - largely in part to Masabaje camp! The land was beautiful, the Tin Man a sweet and cozy landing place for the evening, and Pluto, Sun, and roaming cats were the sweetest new pet friends. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very good place, would recommend it, it’s safe and a an excellent retreat for the night.
Facilities make it a plus, use of clean bathroom and shower.
Friendly owners.
Would be Happy to stay there again.

1 night at Masabaje Camp
Stayed in Bedford on a Monday night and it was extremely peaceful. Bathroom was such a nice treat for a spot like this after long hiking days. The dogs Sun & Pluto were a major highlight while missing our dog on this trip!
Would absolutely stay again!

Weekend Trip to Masabaje Camp
Nice comfortable bed. Nice warm shower available. Gas grill and fireplace. Beautiful countryside. Hosts were fantastic making sure we had everything we needed. Will definitely return.

We were looking for a quiet escape from the fireworks in Seattle on the 4th and we couldn’t have been happier with R & R. Candida is a lovely host and the property was perfect. The camper is very cute and functional with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed a dip in the creek to cool off. Our reactive dog had a very relaxing 4th of July 😊. Would much rather stay here then in the hustle and bustle of Leavenworth town, only a 10-15 minute drive if you want to check it out. Book with confidence and enjoy the peaceful setting.

Weekend Trip to Buck Meadows

Atmosphere was amazing. Woke up to deer standing outside the tiny home. The space was clean and comfy. It was my first experience using the app. The host were very accommodating and I really enjoyed my time there. Wish I could have stayed longer! I definitely will book this stay again in the future

2 nights at Masabaje Camp
I slept in Bedford and the mattress was super comfy and it was warm inside, despite a crazy windstorm. There was a power strip inside and cute string bulb lights for nighttime that plugged in. There was a lot of storage under the bed too. The spot was a little bit away from the other cabins giving it privacy, yet it was a quick walk to the bathroom and kitchen. It was super cool to have a fridge, stove, flush toilet, and showers. Delightful! The pond was cute but I didn't get to it much, too windy. The dogs were adorable and I fell in love with Pluto. Matt, the property manager, was awesome and very attentive. There was a group camping there too, and they were so generous and included me in all activities and meals! As a solo camper, it was a great experience. I would absolutely stay there again.

This is a great location. Close to Leavenworth, Lake Wenatchee, and Fish Lake. The town of Plain has a general store with anything you would need. The trailer and property are perfect. There’s a little creek that has a good spot for a cold plunge or let the doggo’s swim around. We will be back !
