This is for the adventurous Hipcamper that appreciates the bumpy dirt road. Your Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla won't get you here. Cell service is limited. It is not recommended to arrive after sunset But it is so worth it. Come relax and enjoy the views of the Columbia River and the North Cascades. Plenty of sunshine with epic sunsets, our property is where you come to unwind and soak in the sun when the west side of the Cascades is socked in with clouds and rain. If you want to explore the area, it's about a 10-minute car ride to the Columbia River and 20 minutes to Chelan and all that is offered there. Our favorite activities when we visit are to listen to the birds chirp and take in the surroundings. There are several lava rock piles that speak to the long and volcanic geological history of the area. We also really enjoy walking the dirt road on the ridge. It provides some of the most incredible views in the area. The dirt road section over the ridge can be a little rough and dusty and it's recommended that guests have a medium clearance vehicle, such as a Subaru Outback. However, a guest once drove their Honda Civic down to the site, so it really depends on your comfort level. If in doubt, just ask! We have a security camera on site we use for wildlife sightings and to check the weather. If the idea of having the camera bothers you, feel free to place a blanket or some other type of cover during your stay. We can also turn the camera to only face the entrance. Just let us know. Please respect the surroundings and others' property. There are several other vacation cabins in the area and everyone enjoys their peace and quiet. We provide a privy for guests to use, but be prepared to pack out waste in case it doesn't meet your standards. We try to keep it clean and stocked with TP, but we can only get out to the land every few weeks. If you're looking for peace and tranquility, Sagebrush Hollow is the place for you.

I'm 74. My daughter and I enjoyed 2 nights, she in her van and me in mine. It's rare to find a quiet,secure campsite with incredible views so close and convenient. I opted to refrain from taking the short trail down to the river because it's not ideal for a man my age but kids would love it. I would recommend this spot to anyone who enjoys camping with a tent or a van--not a trailer or larger RV.

This place is one of its kind. Perfect place to spend a peaceful weekend. We loved the setup and getting up there will definitely need a 4×4 as a small patch of the route up is a bit rough. The host was great in guiding us ahead with the right route to the place and was helpful with passing on some information way ahead. Cellular signal up there wasn't bad for us. I'll be recommending this place to a few of my jeep friends who a package of offroading and camping.

The owners were great and communicative! They had a drive in movie and group games which sets them apart. The campsites are small and don’t provide much privacy but if you aren’t planning on staying at your site much, this is a great option. There is a bathroom but not close to the campsite. Overall, I’d recommend The stay and would book again.

This place is pure magic! The site itself is beautifully designed and laid out. Multiple flat parking areas.Two porta potties are clean and smell fresh. Lots of seating and an unbelievable view! There’s a fairly easy public trail close by to access a stunning large swimming hole and beach and then a more challenging private pathway down to a more shallow, smaller swimming hole that was perfect for my dog and I imagine would be great for younger children. Overall, we absolutely loved this campsite. Can’t wait to go back!

I loved my stay at this little cabin. It’s tucked away in a beautiful spot, with sweeping views of the valley and mountains that make you feel completely removed from the rush of everyday life. The directions to get there were clear, and while cell coverage is minimal, there’s just enough to make a call if needed—which struck the perfect balance between isolation and peace of mind. The cabin itself has everything you need, and the solar-powered battery pack was a thoughtful perk. Nights were especially magical—stargazing here is absolutely incredible. If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, recharge, and soak in nature with a breathtaking view, this cabin is the perfect getaway.

Very cleanly kept. Beautiful grounds. Really close to town but we still felt that disconnect from society and the daily grind and the chaos that can come from Chelan. They have a little market on the grounds that has fresh produce at very good prices. We will definitely be staying there again.

This has to be one of the best Hipcamps ever! The views are incredible, especially at sunset. The cabin is very cute and cozy, and has everything you need. I didn't think the road was bad at all - my Ram Promaster van made it just fine, but it definitely depends on your experience with dirt roads and comfort level. It was so peaceful and quiet, with a lot of deer around. I couldn't recommend this place more!

This was a great spot for camping! Mike was an excellent host, he greeted us as we drove in and showed us where we could set up our tent. The spot was shaded and discrete. The brewery had a half bath we could use as well as some lawn games and a pool table. There was a live musician that evening and at night they played a movie on their giant projector (drive-in style). I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone traveling through Plain or visiting Leavenworth! We will for sure stay here again if we're ever in the area.

My partner and I were in Cle Elum for a wedding and this was the perfect spot for a night away! We wanted to be close enough to the venue while also getting to spend a night in our tent (our favorite summer activity). Having the shed to provide some convenience for getting ready was wonderful and the porta potty on the property was the nicest I’ve ever been in. Felt totally fresh with no smell! Waking up under the trees is my favorite and this spot provided just that :)

We do not take late comers as we are a farm and are early to bed and early to rise. I'm sorry! We are the third generation in this location and the great grandparents had the adjoining property. My father was born and died in this house, and I was raised here also. After teaching for 32 years my husband and I inherited the farm from my folks who have since passed. There are no orchards left on the property but we are moving on with a vegetable and flower garden, goats, chickens and a llama. Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Welcome to The Landing at Index - located on the South Fork Skykomish River, in the western foothills of the Cascade Mountains, off of Highway 2. With 16 acres of beautiful, private woods and breathtaking views of Mt. Index, this is a wonderful getaway to kick back and relax after your day of adventures, or just to escape the city rush. This is a gated property, protected with a code, which you will be sent 24 hours before your arrival. The campsites are at the bottom of a long logging road so an SUV or AWD vehicle are preferable , especially during the wetter seasons. When the property was logged approximately 100 years ago they scooped out gravel from the river to make their roads in the area thus creating the back eddy pool along the beach. A rather peaceful setting, including the rushing sound of the river and the occasional whistle of a train. You will feel refreshed and rejuvenated after you stay at The Landing. Pets are welcome, there are private outhouses at each campsite. These outhouses are protected with a code, which is sent to you 24 hours before your arrival. Campfires are allowed (when burn bans are not in place).

Now accepting bookings 6 months out! Spring Creek Getaway is a large, one and a half acre campsite private campsite near Cle Elum, Washington. Located on Spring Creek Road in Ronald, WA, it is a three minute drive to Lake Cle Elum. It is an hour and a half drive East of Seattle, and a ten minute drive to Roslyn. There is unlimited recreation in the area, including many hiking and riding trails near by. There is plenty of space on the property to bring your boat or ATVs (or rent from The Last Resort)! The power is 110v. We also have high speed WIFI making it easy to work from the campsite. Please note that we do not have water or sewer hookups. There are two picnic tables and a fire pit in a large open area. There is a creek running through the property and string lights leading to it. If you would like to use the propane fire pit table, please bring your own propane tank or you can fill up an empty one that is available at the campsite to use.
