Purchased in 2013 after a fire came through the area. We've spent the last 7 years regenerating the land, planting trees, building our house and collecting places for people to rest their heads. Masabaje is the first two letters of each of our parents names (Margaret, Sandy, Barry, Jerry). We offer five listings - a converted schoolbus, an Airstream, retro trailer, truck bed glamp pod and tent spot. Meet Birdy, a semi-converted Blue Bird school bus with a comfortable queen mattress, couch, two recliners, dry kitchen, cooking utensils, and camp stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 4 minute walk). Birdy sits at "Top Pond", farthest from the house in a super quiet and private spot. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). There is no electricity available in Birdy. Devices can be charged up at the house. There is also no heater in Birdy, overnight temperatures in September and October can dip down into the mid-low 40's or lower. Meet Tin Man, we found him after he had been in an accident. We bandaged him up and he became the first place to sleep when we bought our empty land. He has a comfortable double mattress, couch, chair, kitchen, cooking utensils, and two burner stove. There is access to a toilet, shower and sink (clean up area) in back room of main house (about a 30 second walk). Tin Man sits on our driveway round-a-bout and is closest to the house. You must bring your own bedding or sleeping bags, pillows, etc. (available here for an additional fee). Ellensburg is known for its wind and our land is just down from a wind farm. We cannot control the wind, but Birdy sits in a pretty wind protected oasis. Masabaje is a clothing optional space. We are less than 2 hours from Seattle, 1 hour to Yakima wine country, 40 minutes to Vantage, 40 minutes to Leavenworth, 50 minutes to Snoqualmie Pass, 15 minutes to Ellensburg, 25 minutes to Roslyn, 25 minutes to Yakima River Canyon for floating and hiking, and so much more!

Wenatchee is 12 miles away, 35 miles to the Gorge Amphitheater, 30 miles to Leavenworth and 45 miles to Lake Chelan. This is an farming area with cherry orchards 200 feet from the site. It is busy during cherry harvest (4th of July through end of July) with regular chemical sprays being applied by our neighbors from April through September so if you are sensitive to agricultural chemicals this site is not recommended. Also be advised we're on top of a mountain and can get quite breezy at times. Pets are welcome but should be supervised due to predators (primarily coyotes and various birds of prey). And the chickens, I have a friend raising chickens on the upper part of the property where they mostly just make routine chicken noises but there are some roosters that seem to be nocturnal which some folks can find annoying. We also have varying numbers of snakes as the weather warms up some years they are more prevalent than others (contact me if you are concerned for a snake report). On the bright side we don't have any wasps or mosquitoes. This site is available once the snow melts and the mud dries up, typically mid-March until it begins freezing on a regular basis which varies but not much past mid October. This spot is also available for longer term rentals.

We have a small area, but most of it is shaded and right by the river. Learn more about this land: Come camp near the river at a fully-functional whitewater river rafting basecamp!! Our group-style camping area is ideal for small groups of people or couples. We have a total of 4 spots. Spot #1 is our largest spot, suitable for 4 or 5 two-person or three-person tents. Spot #2 is a bit smaller, ideal for up to 3 medium-sized tents. Spots 3 and 4 are suitable for two small to medium-sized tents. Camp spots are next to each other, so there's not a lot of "wild forest camping" here.  We refer to it as urban camping. All spots are level and graveled. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise in the area, as we are near Highway 2.   There are also picnic tables in the camping area for all campers to use as well as several hammocks.. Access to the river is very nearby. Weekend camping is limited, and you may occasionally hear the sound of a train whistle. WiFi and a fire pit are included, as well as on-site port-a-potties.  Hot outdoor showers are also on-site and available to all rafters and campers. There is a large communal fire pit, but no individual campfire pits; however, the option is to bring a propane stand-alone fire pit.  Fires are allowed in April, May, and June; the fire ban starts on July 1st due to wildfire concerns. No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control and monitored at all times.   Our property features potable water, on-site outdoor showers, and a foot-operated hand wash station.  Our camping area is somewhat small and does not have grass, but it is graveled.  Please be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music at a low to medium volume.  Please bring a photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form.  Additionally, we are a river rafting company, so we may not have anyone present when you arrive - don't worry, we are likely on the river and will return soon!  *** Please message before booking to ensure we are a good match***

We got smart tv's, you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime for free, also there is plenty other channels. And the main feature of the cabin is 50's vinyl records player (updated with Bluetooth). You will enjoy drinking coffee with a beautiful mountain view. Also, there is picnic table and firepit chairs. You can bring your own propane firepit or rent from the office ($20). Our Outdoor activities: -The cooler season brings fun-filled times of snow & amp, recreation for the whole family. From skiing to snowshoeing, then come warm up in Retro cabin White Pass is only 45 minutes away. -Naches RV Resort is in the heart of a hunter's paradise, offering big game hunting of elk, deer, and even big horn sheep, as well as birds, waterfowl. -Some of WA State’s premier rock climbing and mountaineering destinations are within minutes of Naches RV Resort. -120 wineries and five American Viticulture Areas (AVA’s) provide MUCH to explore for the wine enthusiast. It is busy during cherry harvest (4th of July through end of July) with regular chemical sprays being applied by our neighbors from April through September so if you are sensitive to agricultural chemicals this site is not recommended. Also be advised we're on top of a mountain and can get quite breezy at times. Pets are welcome but should be supervised due to predators (primarily coyotes and various birds of prey). And the chickens, I have a friend raising chickens on the upper part of the property where they mostly just make routine chicken noises but there are some roosters that seem to be nocturnal which some folks can find annoying. We also have varying numbers of snakes as the weather warms up some years they are more prevalent than others (contact me if you are concerned for a snake report). On the bright side we don't have any wasps or mosquitoes. This site is available once the snow melts and the mud dries up, typically mid-March until it begins freezing on a regular basis which varies but not much past mid October. This spot is also available for longer term rentals.

Our group-style camping area is ideal for small groups of people or couples. We have a total of 4 spots. Spot #1 is our largest spot, suitable for 4 or 5 two-person or three-person tents. Spot #2 is a bit smaller, ideal for up to 3 medium-sized tents. Spots 3 and 4 are suitable for two small to medium-sized tents. Camp spots are next to each other, so there's not a lot of "wild forest camping" here.  We refer to it as urban camping. All spots are level and graveled. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise in the area, as we are near Highway 2.   There are also picnic tables in the camping area for all campers to use as well as several hammocks.. Access to the river is very nearby. Weekend camping is limited, and you may occasionally hear the sound of a train whistle. WiFi and a fire pit are included, as well as on-site port-a-potties.  Hot outdoor showers are also on-site and available to all rafters and campers. There is a large communal fire pit, but no individual campfire pits; however, the option is to bring a propane stand-alone fire pit.  Fires are allowed in April, May, and June; the fire ban starts on July 1st due to wildfire concerns. No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control and monitored at all times.   Our property features potable water, on-site outdoor showers, and a foot-operated hand wash station.  Our camping area is somewhat small and does not have grass, but it is graveled.  Please be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music at a low to medium volume.  Please bring a photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form.  Additionally, we are a river rafting company, so we may not have anyone present when you arrive - don't worry, we are likely on the river and will return soon!  *** Please message before booking to ensure we are a good match***

We got smart tv's, you can watch Netflix, Amazon Prime for free, also there is plenty other channels. And the main feature of the cabin is 50's vinyl records player (updated with Bluetooth). You will enjoy drinking coffee with a beautiful mountain view. Also, there is picnic table and firepit chairs. You can bring your own propane firepit or rent from the office ($20). Our Outdoor activities: -The cooler season brings fun-filled times of snow & amp, recreation for the whole family. Great spot with awesome view overlooking alfalfa fields. The picnic table is GREAT for outdoor dining and relaxing. Interior has everything you need. I was unable to get the heat to work, but the host is updating the listing with a manual for future guests.

I really enjoyed the space. This was a halfway point to get to Great Prosser Balloon Festival by 6a Saturday morning. I picked up a Walmart order then straight to the Cathaus. (We didn’t see the cat). I pulled together a little dinner. Maria had some dishes and utensils but I’d brought my own. I went and sat on the covered area overlooking the apple orchard with my dog. The local winery next door had an evening concert going, so even had a little entertainment. The workers cabin was cute. Nothing too fancy or too shabby. The full size bed was cozy. I’m not a huge fan of foam form pillows but at 4a I discovered one of the bunk beds had a fluffy pillow. Too bad I didn’t check around 9p when I turned in. 🙂 My border collie did well. There was ample lighting once dark to see the path to the outhouse. Plenty of books to browse or read if any guest wants to fill downtime. I enjoyed the location and the basket of homemade goodies to purchase. I guess if I had to provide any feedback, it might be to add some fairy lights maybe around the “kitchen” area. Everyone’s opinion will be different. I tend to like just a little light at night, typically in another room. The cabin was pitch dark when lights were out. I had brought some usb fairy lights with me and honestly I should have left them behind as a gift. Maybe I’ll throw my extra string in the mail to Maria. Thanks for the hospitality! Hope I have the opportunity to visit again.

Beautiful, quiet spot. A perfect overnight for me on my way to Seattle. Having access to a fridge, shower, and bathroom really elevated the experience. The shelter over the tent was a treat, too, and kept my tent totally dry from a surprise summer storm. The dogs were so sweet! Would stay again.

Weekend Trip to River Recreation's Basecamp
Don's space was a decent place to spend a quick night while we were at an event in Leavenworth. Directions were clear and the site was tidy. It's located on his basecamp for river rafting, so it's convenient for a quick night or two, but wouldn't be intended for private relaxation. The white noise from the river and wind was great! The traffic noise isn't disturbing, and the train only went by once.

1 night at Bianchi Vineyards RV Site
We enjoyed five nights at Kim‘s, site B. Our camper faced towards the river and the open valley with a lovely view. We sat outside most evenings after the temperature had dropped and enjoyed a complete quiet, tranquil, starlight setting. Kim has a lovely dog named North who visited our site and was a gentle welcoming soul. We are dog people and loved his visits. I will note that Kim was very responsive in checking to make sure that it was OK if North visited our site. Our rig and approach to the site: 26’ bumper-pull travel trailer pulled by a 3/4 ton truck. We went just past the designated pad and backed into the site, super easy. Pros: Quiet, scenic, safe, very communicative host, accessible, great location. Cons: None, it’s a lovely place to enjoy.
