The mouth of the Lyre River is a min walk down our beach where youll be staying. Elwa River 15 min away. Or stay and enjoy the view and sound of the waves. Just a short 20 min drive West of Port Angeles , WA. hides a private and all accessible, one road in and one road out beach all to yourself. Adjasent to the so popular lyre river campground, Surfers destination off of LowPoint, Fishing from shore or sign up for our kayaks, or small boat.. Breath taking views of Canada. As well as the as the serenity of no sounds of traffic, anywhere.. Creeks on either side of property Feilding .Neilson. Gold panning. Rock hunting; including fossils agates. indigenous bird's such as eagles, hawks, ospreys, kingfishers, ducks, geese, marine bird's, ect. Deer and Elk frequent the area. Watch Thursday and Friday nite as cruise ships light up the straights inbound to seattle. Excellent low tide beach as it drops to almost a 16th of a mile from shore.. Firewood available in camp package or separately.. Close to wilderness trail and Lake Cresent. Animal friendly.
We also have our campground above the beach called " Weekend Warriors New Location" check it out on Hipcamp. Which will be opening on May 1st. We are currently still working on property. And will have more sites posted and better pictures of campground soon so you can reserve your site. There very private and large sites with Picnic tables and fire pits

Located 10 miles west of Port Angeles on the scenic Highway 112. This is a small farm homestead with geese, chickens, and Flynn the farm dog. Backed by a forest of cedar trees and a creek running through it, there is plenty of privacy for campers on the 10 acres. There are several common areas should you want to visit fellow campers. Several areas have fire pits and mobile fire pits can be delivered to your camp site.
This is a “meet and greet” campsite where I place you according to your camping needs (remote/close to facilities, Rv/tent, size of party, etc). I have to be on site at your arrival, so please keep me informed of your expected arrival time.
Note: I love hosting campers with dogs. However, I have had two sheep put down due to attacks by guest dogs. My very friendly dog has been attacked by guest dogs. I no longer have sheep, because I won’t endanger them. You need to verify that your dog is not aggressive.

This area is beautiful! We have wildlife all around us! We have Eagles (so keep your little dogs on a leash), deer, Roosevelt Elk in the neighborhood! Rialto Beach is about 5 miles away, and LaPush Beach is 10 miles. Awesome berries to pick, mushrooms, and the best thing of all the Salmon fishing!!

Karlee is very kind, attentive, and is a great communicator. There are permanent residents there, but it’s still neat and quiet. The spot was level and was extremely easy to back into. The location is great; as it’s walking distance to the quaint main street in Forks. We were able to conveniently book just a couple hours before our arrival time and received a timely confirmation from Karlee shortly thereafter. We are looking forward to staying here again on our trip back!

Very peaceful and nice location to Crescent Beach and a variety of recreation . Janelle was very helpful and made sure I was settled in ok. Both the options for camping are great and there is space and nature surrounding. Flynn the resident dog visited respectfully and we took a walk at dusk. It was nice to know he was around being so shepherdly sweet and friendly. I’ll be back.

My stay at High Hopes Camp was beyond amazing! The location is absolutely perfect—close enough to town for convenience, yet it feels completely removed from all the stressors of the city. Janelle was an incredible host and such a pleasure to chat with. I noticed some reviews mention the dog—let me just say, he’s a total superstar and made the experience even better. I would definitely recommend this camp spot to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable stay.

We had a fabulous time on Janelle’s beautiful property, where we camped in our tent for 2 nights. Janelle welcomed us and was extremely friendly, this being our first time camping in the area. We were very comfortable; there were even extra chairs and tables Janelle let us use for cooking and relaxing; as well as a full toilet and water setup. The area was peaceful and beautiful with some bird wildlife and a very friendly dog Flynn. Highly recommend staying here! Thank you Janelle.

The property was great and the host was extremely accommodating. There were ancient cedars and a creek on the property. We saw a Barred Owl (that hung out next to our tent maybe 20 feet from us for hours on end) and a frog in the creek. They also had chickens roaming (very cute), some white geese, and an extremely friendly dog that hung out with us for hours as well. The outside with real plumbing was also a big plus. Overall, the place exceeded our expectations.

Great campsite and close proximity to local hikes. Janelle and Flynn (dog) are both friendly and welcoming. Our camp site was bordered by trees which provided awesome shade when it was 80+ degrees. The campsite was equipped with a bench, table and fire ring (unused during fire ban). The common flush toilet and pump sink were welcomed luxuries. It was a full weekend with other campers but Janelle sited everyone thoughtfully so we felt total privacy. Would highly recommend!

A really special spot right on the water. It’s quite peaceful and beautiful. Fire ring, camp tables, and a table just at the waters edge. There is a clean port-a-potty just next to the site. The directions to get there were a little unclear, and there was no signage.

Great place....the big tree provides a lot of shade during the day....!! One bit of advice....don't follow your GPS to get here....!!! After you turn off 101, don't turn left down that dead-end where your GPS says to turn....there's no turn-around at the end....!!
