Covid put a halt on business for a few years, but we are back and making some gradual upgrades and changes to offer camping and horseback riding experiences again! The lake is 220 acres known to Anglers near and far. Plenty of room for the sunseekers wanting to play in the water on paddle boards, kayaks, jet skis, and water skiing. An 18-hole Golf Course resides at the North end of the lake and white water rafting just a few miles down the hill on the Methow River. Must book horseback riding in advance. Philville is 3.85 miles from US 97 on state highway 153. Near Pateros wa., the property is ten acres and includes 3 acres of tent sites, 3 rv hookups and 3 cabin rentals. All sites are riverfront and the adjoining property is a state fishing access and boat launch used by rafters and fishermen. The site is at the very end of the popular "Black canyon" section of the Methow river. Rafting and fishing guides use this property regularly. There is ample space for boat and trailer parking. There is a winery in walking distance that offers a beautiful oudoor tasting experience. Winter opportunities include cross-country skiing and snowmobiling. Nearby the recreational opportunities abound. Alta Lake is a popular tourist area only 2 miles away. 4 miles away is Lake Pateros - home to many popular species of gamefish with massive runs of salmon passing eagerly anticipated each year in summer. The number in 2024 was over 500,000. Winthrop Wa. -a small western themed town is 30 miles away and a popular tourist destination. One of the most popular activities here is simply sitting in the river. We have a stunning swimming hole that is enjoyed by young and old. there are vertical bluffs across the river that are home to 60 bird species. A paradise for birders. Close to upland gamebird hunting on state land. The site also has historical significance being a site along the first wagon road into the Methow valley built in the 1800's

My husband & I put a lot of blood sweat & tears into making this a place our kids would enjoy during our weekend vacations to Leavenworth. We love hiking & there are a ton of nearby hikes. Despite it being located on the other side of the train tracks, we always seem to have a good time. We hope you enjoy it too! Learn more about this land: Outdoor enthusiast will enjoy this glamp spot! Utilize the dry cabin equipped with two twin size beds, a pullout couch bed, a dining table with 4 chairs & extra seating. With plenty of space outdoors, feel free to pitch a tent or bring your RV for friends! It is a dry cabin meaning there is no running water. We have it powered with a solar panel which should give enough electricity to charge phones & lights as needed. There is also an outhouse with a compost bucket if you'd like to use that. The downside to this lovely parcel is it's on the opposite side of the train tracks, so there will be occasional noise. Maybe it adds to the uniqueness? Just keep that in mind as once in a blue moon, the train does stop so you may be stuck for a few minutes. Oh & those power lines sometimes make a crackling noise. Sometimes we notice it & other times we don't. Now that we got that out of the way, the pros are it's a great place to explore. There are a ton of nearby hikes. This spot is in between Stevens Pass & the famous Alps candy store, with each being about 15 mins away. There is a gas station/convenient store, a few diners, and a rest stop within 5 minutes. Historical Leavenworth is about 20 mins.  There is a spot for campfires, a small 2 burner propane stove & an ice chest for your convenience, but you will need to bring the propane.

Super cute little a-frame with enough room to sleep and some space to store your gear. I didn't try it the shower but it looks like a good setup and really appreciated the running toilet on-site. Nice off the highway base camp for adventures.

Weekend Trip to R & R Glamping/Leavenworth

Staying in this camper for the weekend was nice. There’s running water, an icebox, a gas stovetop, and electricity. I didn’t have any cell service or WiFi but that didn’t bother us any. It was nice having the table and chairs outside to eat breakfast and enjoy a cup of coffee before our day’s adventures. Only 15 minutes away from Leavenworth.

Weekend Trip to R & R Glamping/Leavenworth

We were looking for a quiet escape from the fireworks in Seattle on the 4th and we couldn’t have been happier with R & R. Candida is a lovely host and the property was perfect. The camper is very cute and functional with a comfortable bed. I enjoyed a dip in the creek to cool off. Our reactive dog had a very relaxing 4th of July 😊. Would much rather stay here then in the hustle and bustle of Leavenworth town, only a 10-15 minute drive if you want to check it out. Book with confidence and enjoy the peaceful setting.

This is a great location. Close to Leavenworth, Lake Wenatchee, and Fish Lake. The town of Plain has a general store with anything you would need. The trailer and property are perfect. There’s a little creek that has a good spot for a cold plunge or let the doggo’s swim around. We will be back !
