Camp Daisy! Sequim's Sweetest Airstream Argosy and the best, entirely private camping spot for the Olympic National Park. Welcome to our passion project, a completely restored and preserved '77 Airstream Argosy. Tucked in a forested corner of our plot, only 3/4 mile from downtown Sequim you'll get the BEST of camping without any of the worsts of camping. Spend evenings in the wood fire hot tub under the stars and slip into 100% cotton sheets on an oversized camper mattress & French Flax bedding.
Tucked into the fully fenced and forested quarter of our lot, once parked and past the gate you'll feel as though you've entered the best camping spot in the entire campground - only thing is, you've got the whole place to yourself. Our aim was to create the best of camping without any of the pain that usually accompanies it. No packing up the camper, trailer hookups, towing on wild highways, backing up and parking, loud neighbors but instead... complete privacy, a fully outfitted camper with all the interior amenities you could dream of (think fully equipped kitchen, games, books, bedding, toilet paper - we've got it all) a propane fire pit, already chopped firewood for the WOOD FIRE HOT TUB under the stars, a solar outdoor shower to rinse yourself off, a large curved deck with a table and chairs. Depending on the season you may even find a fridge stocked with farm fresh eggs.
The property that the campsite is located on is also fully gated so you won't have to worry about security and your privacy. Unless you need something you'll be fully left alone and safe.
PLEASE note that Vintage Camping Trailers are petite. The walking path from the front to the back of the trailer is narrow. The bed is a FULL size mattress. That being said, we did spring for a very tall mattress so once you're in the bed you will be as comfy as possible. This camping experience is best for those who are also petite. Tall travelers may find the height of the inside shower and the entire camper a bit cramped. Additionally, the bed can most definitely fit two sleepers but please ensure you comfortably fit on a full size mattress before you commit. Remember, the spirit of this stay is luxury camping, but it's still camping.

Very cute, extremely cozy (still thinking about that duvet), loved the fire pit and the hammock. Can’t wait to come back! The one note I have is maybe bring your own silverware, because there was only enameled flatware and the enamel is peeling off which is not safe to consume of course.

Weekend Trip to Camp Daisy - Sequim's Airstream
Daisy is exactly as promised: clean, cute, compact. The wood-fired hottub was a fun treat, and the deck with the propane fire table and grill made a comfortable place to set and enjoy the evening air. Chelsea and Jesse were available by chatting, but we had the area with the camper to ourselves (save the occasional Siamese cat strolling by).
The lot backs up against a quiet rural road, so there are occasional cars and bikes passing. By Airbnb or Vrbo standards, it's downright silent, but worth mentioning for a Hipcamp. There's also a gap in the fence that allows a peekaboo view of the wood stove from the main house. Totally understandable from a fire safety perspective, but set your modesty expectations appropriately when crossing from the trailer to the hot tub.

What a wonderful getaway! It was a blast from the past but with plenty of modern amenities! The inside of RV is meticulously designed and we were really impressed with all the special touches. The space outside is a lovely oasis and we really enjoyed the hot tub! Highly recommend this stay!!

Every detail was accounted for in this adorable 70’s themed airstream. Extremely Clean and stoked with all the essentials. We spent time in the wood heated hot tub after a long hike which was heaven. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thanks for incredible stay!

Camp Daisy is incredible! Chelsea has meticulously crafted this vintage blast-from-the-past trailer. It felt like every little detail and item inside was hand-picked with care. This little trailer is full of amenities, and that is not even including the wood fired hot tub on site! Inside the camper you have a comfy bed - big enough for two, bathroom with shower and sink, alongside the kitchen sink, all have hot water. There is a stovetop and oven, along with all the utensils necessary to cook with a true retro feel. You have a stocked refrigerator, freezer, and cabinets in case you feel snacky or forgot to pack something.
She has included various modern amenities as well, like a phone and smartwatch charger and wifi. The hot tub was ugh, phenomenal. Arriving at the site and smelling the wood burning just felt like a relaxing escape for me. It was very warm and pleasant to relax after driving all day. Her property is quite secluded and you have all the privacy and space you could need. The deck was cool to hang out on, with a propane fire pit, grill, hammock and extra cooler.
It was nice to be so close to nature and also town. Visiting the nearby spit and wildlife refuge was a highlight too! Chelsea you have a wonderful place!

Washington Park
Put boats, boots, and bikes on the list for this outdoor adventurer dream destination. Set west of Anacortes, Washington Park provides campers a place to enjoy beachfront views with a boat launch and picnic tables, hike marked trails in lush forests, or pedal the pavement on a 2.2-mile loop (which also works for easy walking). The campground offers RV and tent sites with water and electrical hookups or non-utility options at a cheaper rate. Its 25 sites are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so reservations are highly recommended.
Deception Pass State Park
South of Anacortes in Oak Harbor, Deception Pass State Park bridges the gap between Whidbey Island and Fidalgo Island with a buffet of locations for campers to rest and recharge. Spend the day hiking the trails, have a beachside lunch on a picnic table, or take a drive over the 188-foot Deception Pass Bridge. To get out on the water, wade down to Bowman Bay to find an easy entry boat launch, optimal for canoeing and kayaking.

Late spring to late fall is the best time to visit Anacortes, though the area offers incredible camping spots year-round in the changing seasons.
