In 1831 formerly Northern's Mill had an old mill house, dwelling house, outbuildings, mill pond and water courses with about 31 acres and was bought for an enormous amount of
$10.00!
At the working mill the owner's wife baked pies for the workers to enjoy
while they waited for their ground grains (most likely corn, soybeans and wheat).
The pond is also recognized as
Courtney Mill Pond and Kissinger Mill Pond.

The road is washed out and fresh water pond mostly drained. You will access from Mundy Point Road. This historical site had a working Mill built in the early 1800's. Please check out my friend's place nearby at Callao Brewery and Rivah Vineyards at the Grove! Grab some fresh local veggies from one of the Amish stands and don't forget your tackle and bait at RW's.
Camp 1 has the most room for car camping and groups close to the road and overlooking the pond.
Camp 2 is a short hike to a private knoll overlooking the grassy marsh of Mill Creek, this is tidal water that flows to the Potomac.

Great place to get away and camp. Really quiet, plenty of open space and tree line to camp on. Nice trails to walk the dog or take the Jeep through. Plenty of wood to burn, but best you bring something to cut it up. This was perfect for me because I was camping in a hot tent. They will cut and deliver wood for a price. The bath house was a short walk away with clean showers and conditioned. The Host and Helper were really nice and made sure I had what I needed. I'll definitely be back for another stay.

Weekend Trip to Strawberry Crossroads
We visited the Strawberry Crossroads in early Nov to enjoy the fall foliage. We rented one of the small wooden cabins, which had 6 individual bunks with mats, a small fridge, a small table, a trash can, ceiling light and fan, and a cooler/heater. The land was beautiful with a lovely creek and a cute wooden bridge that crosses over it. We enjoyed the goats and chickens, and just the overall beautiful nature. The hosts were very responsive, kind, and relaxed. We had a great time and will recommend to friends/family.

Was everything we expected it to be. Site was nice and flat restrooms were clean and well maintained. The goats came to visit the first day we were set up they hung out for a few and went on their way. It was late in the season so activity was minimal which worked out well for us.

The property at Strawberry Crossroads is beautiful! I’m just sorry I didn’t get to spend more leisure time there, as I had to work in town every day. It is only 17 miles from the beach resort town of Ocean City, yet you feel far removed from the crowds etc…Our host TJ was super hospitable, yet left you to your privacy. He would even deliver firewood, if needed! I will definitely stay again & also recommend to others!

Weekend Trip to Strawberry Crossroads
Camp site was easily accessible. Staff was accommodating for my late night arrival and helped get me into the cabin after a long day.
There was a nice stack of firewood outside of the cabin. I didn’t use it because of wet weather and limited time at the site, but it was a welcome surprise.
Inside has 6 bunks. I doubled up on mattresses since I was solo. Inside has a small refrigerator and remote controlled air conditioner, both worked well and AC helped ensure a solid nigts’s sleep. Inside flooring is carpeted and also has a small table and chair.
Communication was timely and efficient.
Bathhouse is about a 5 minute walk. Showers were clean, well maintained and had nice hot water. Would recommend if you’re looking for a quick accessible cabin near Ocean City.

Second year in a row staying here. Cabin was clean and had just what we needed to be comfortable for the weekend. Bathrooms had nice showers. The goats did sleep on our front porch and stalked us all morning Saturday, so that was an unexpected fun touch! Would definitely come back, and most likely will!

Very laid-back campsite with clean facilities. TJ was very responsive, and we loved meeting the goats! We had a great experience and would highly recommend.

I would recommend Strawberry Crossroads to anyone who is looking for affordable and country/primitive camping. I came into the area for Oceans Calling and I found Strawberry Crossroads on Hipcamp so I could car camp and be out of the city. This was honestly the best part of my trip. They were very helpful and accommodating. My first night my car was towed in OC which prompted me to get a hotel, however they were more than willing to come get me if I needed. I asked for fire wood & they delivered right to my site for $10. During my stay I also made a mistake and let my battery die and they came right away when I asked for help. The grounds, are pretty big. Two fields with plenty of space. Showers and bathrooms were clean. & all the other campers I ran into were super friendly! They had cabins, sites for campers, and primitive camping which is what I did. The animals on the property don’t bother you. And they have a really cute & friendly dog I got to meet!
