At the campsites there is a slight incline and some loose gravel. Caution: Wildlife present in the area including bear, bobcat, deer, turkey.

Great spot to camp. We loved the sound of the creek at night and the beautiful fall colors all around us. Allison came out to greet us when we arrived and was very hospitable. She had plenty of fire wood ready for us, chairs, a nice picnic table, lantern, a hanging bag of water for washing up and even a welcome bag full of local goodies and information. Plus internet connection! The kids enjoyed finding ways across the creek in the morning. We would highly recommend this to camp!

The space was so well maintained. With only 2 spots and spread out we felt very secluded and private. We loved the campfire ring on the back of the space under the tree cover. We did have a problem getting our camper up the entrance hill but they were great, got a tractor and pulled us up! Talk about service! They have trails on their lot but we headed out to Stone Mountain and Roaring River Vineyard for the day - would recommend both. We would definitely come back…once we have a better truck 😊

This was one of our best experiences through hipcamp. The site is private, beautiful property, great communication. Allison went above and beyond to accommodate us. We were traveling with our 2 young kids- she brought clay for my 4 year old to play with. We stayed several days and she checked in occasionally to see if we needed anything. It was a great stay all around, I'd absolutely recommend this site!

Lovely creekside campsite in a rural area. Semi-private, located at the end of their driveway and off the road with little traffic. We were grateful that our dogs could be off-leash but still kept a good eye on them. Allison provided great directions and was a lovely host. They are working on making the site even better with amenities. No cell service but the wifi from their home is usable in spots and appreciated in case of emergency. No bugs at this time of year and weather was lovely - we did get a pop-up storm but the weather changes fast in the mountainous area. Allison and her family were great hosts and it was a peaceful weekend. Would definitely stay again!

This site is my favorite on HipCamp so far! The site is meticulously maintained. The on-site trails were a real treat! Janet’s flowers are amazing! I brought my bouquet home and it’s still brightening my day. They put so much thought into this slice of heaven. We will return! The sites are spaced well apart for privacy (we had it all to ourselves). Pads were level, full hook-ups. We had ample cell coverage (Verizon). We had no worries letting our pup off leash. The open field allows for some great stargazing.

Janet and Matthew were absolutely amazing!! My brother in law found this place and asked if my husband and I would be willing to make the 4 1/2 hour drive down to it. Simple answer- yes. Extended answer- ABSOLUTELY YES! It was so worth the drive, and we’re already talking about planning another trip next year. The views were spectacular, the campsites are well taken care of, and there are plenty of trails to explore or take your dogs on! They were spectacular hosts! Made sure we had everything we needed, even provided us with some firewood! Cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be returning!

Beautiful and Peaceful. So much thought and care was put into the property. It reminded me at being a private park. My wife, labradors and I stayed on 1 site with other family members on site 2 so it was like having our own private camp ground. Large RV sites for the camper and family fun. Large grassy area between the 2 sites for activities and provide plenty of room between sites. The property is very well taken care of with easy access to trails. Labradors loved the trails and made sure we got our exercise in this long weekend. Janet's flower garden was in bloom so we took advantage with a photo shoot. Benches and tables along the trails and by the pond to enjoy. This is my new favorite campground as it is a perfect get away from the hustle and stress of work and get back to the basics of nature!

101 Acres of forested land in the Draper, Virginia area with scattered clearings that are connected by over 2 miles of cleared roads throughout the property, which are perfect for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. The property includes a very small creek, several ravines, ridge lines and trails to explore. We frequently encounter deer, rabbits, squirrels, and the occasional turkey, black bear, coyotes and Bigfoot. The thing people seem to enjoy most is the privacy and and quiet that allows you to connect with nature. Each of the 3 sites is hundreds of yards away from each other. Note: there is no bathroom on the premises, however you can book a toilet tent as an extra. 4 Wheel Drive or All wheel drive are helpful during the winter months if there has been a lot of rain or snow/ice. Things to watch out for are deer ticks and poison ivy. Campers are expected to leave the site neat and take all their trash with them. We are located about 5 minutes from I-81 or 15 minutes from I-77 making it an easy place to stop when passing through on your way to other adventures. If you are coming on I-81, use exit 89-A. Don't let Google maps take you to Frog Level Ct near the town of Pulaski (LOL). Nearby attractions include Appalachian Gem and Gold Mine on Route 100 (5 min), New River Trail State Park (10 min), Claytor Lake State Park (20 min) and the Town of Draper has a couple small town shops to explore including The Draper Mercantile and Trading Company and the newly opened Conery where you can get wonderful ice cream cones and more. Also, check out the Draper Mountain overlook on Rt 11, just 10 minutes from our HipCamp. We love hosting campers and are happy to help make accommodations to help you have an enjoyable stay. We have 3 sites but only allow 2 to be in use at a time on the property. This insures that all guests continue to feel complete privacy from others and allows us to always have an alternate site available if campers want to change. Available "Extras" include portable toilet setup, Woodshop class making a cutting board, Bigfoot sitings as well as various camping gear items and games. 101 Acres of forested land in the Draper, Virginia area with scattered clearings that are connected by over 2 miles of cleared roads throughout the property, which are perfect for hiking, cycling, and horseback riding. The property includes a very small creek, several ravines, ridge lines and trails to explore. We frequently encounter deer, rabbits, squirrels, and the occasional turkey, black bear, coyotes and Bigfoot. The thing people seem to enjoy most is the privacy and and quiet that allows you to connect with nature. Each of the 3 sites is hundreds of yards away from each other. Note: there is no bathroom on the premises, however you can book a toilet tent as an extra. 4 Wheel Drive or All wheel drive are helpful during the winter months if there has been a lot of rain or snow/ice. Things to watch out for are deer ticks and poison ivy. Campers are expected to leave the site neat and take all their trash with them. We are located about 5 minutes from I-81 or 15 minutes from I-77 making it an easy place to stop when passing through on your way to other adventures. If you are coming on I-81, use exit 89-A. Don't let Google maps take you to Frog Level Ct near the town of Pulaski (LOL). Nearby attractions include Appalachian Gem and Gold Mine on Route 100 (5 min), New River Trail State Park (10 min), Claytor Lake State Park (20 min) and the Town of Draper has a couple small town shops to explore including The Draper Mercantile and Trading Company and the newly opened Conery where you can get wonderful ice cream cones and more. Also, check out the Draper Mountain overlook on Rt 11, just 10 minutes from our HipCamp. We love hosting campers and are happy to help make accommodations to help you have an enjoyable stay. We have 3 sites but only allow 2 to be in use at a time on the property. This insures that all guests continue to feel complete privacy from others and allows us to always have an alternate site available if campers want to change. Available "Extras" include portable toilet setup, Woodshop class making a cutting board, Bigfoot sitings as well as various camping gear items and games. If there are other extra's you would like to see or something you forgot to bring please let us know and we will see what we can do.

Eden Oaks Vineyard & Campground was a tobacco farm (antique tobacco barn still on property). The house was built in 1910 and has been updated. We purchased it in 2014 and converted it into a vineyard. We have RV sites with 50 amp and 30 amp electric hookups and water, and tents sites. For 2023 our rates are $30/night for RV Sites (50 amp or 30 amp electric hookups and water) and $25/night for Tent Sites. Tent sites do not have electricity or water hookups, but water is available at the well. (Due to inflation, 2024 our rates will be $30/night for RV Sites, $25/night for Tent Sites.) We do not have a dump station, but we do have a Port A John and a list of dump stations nearby. Campfires are allowed unless we have a state issued burning ban. Campers are responsible for controlling and extinguishing fires. Please be extremely careful during dry or drought conditions. Conveniently located one mile from Hwy 421 but remote and peaceful with plenty of room to roam on our 22 acres with grapevines, fruit trees, forest, creeks, fields, goats, Beagle and Jackabee (Beagle/Jack Russell) dogs, cows, chickens, ducks and goats. Also, we have wildlife such as birds, squirrels, groundhogs, deer, raccoons, opossums, etc. We are about 15 miles from Wilkesboro and North Wilkesboro (home of the Merle Fest and Apple Festival). Eden Oaks is 18 miles from W. Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir, 24 miles from Stone Mt. State Park, and 10 miles from Elkin (sponsors of the Wine Festival and Pumpkin Festival). Eden Oaks is in the heart of the Yadkin Valley and Swan Creek AVAs (American Viticultural Area). We're next door (3 miles) to Raffaldini and Piccione Vineyards. Take a day trip to Boone, Blowing Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Mt. Airy, Winston-Salem, Charlotte or additional areas of interest. We love it here and would like to share it with you.
