Chincoteague and the famous ponies are 35 minutes north, and bougie Cape Charles is 40 minutes south.
When you open the door to this 300’ gem, you will step back in time to a simpler way of life. This century-old building was moved to the site and has been brought back to life, preserving the original character, while adding the creature comforts we love of today. Soaring 12 foot ceilings provide a spacious air, and the original wood interior offer charm and patina that simply cannot be manufactured. In the past, it was a barber shop and then a poker joint.
This place is a design nerd’s dream, a clever combination of old, new, and vintage pieces, handmade pottery and art, with close attention paid to each chosen piece.
Lace curtains and blackout blinds cover all your light preferences for peaceful sleeping. The queen bed is a high end hybrid mattress with traditional coil base and memory foam top. A giant 55” TV is directly across from the bed for cozy streaming.
The modern bathroom has a vintage wall sink found on site, and terrific water pressure from a rain shower head with instant, never ending Rinnai hot water.

I had the whole property to myself on the holiday weekend. Very quiet. Nice little shed tucked up against the woods. I stayed hunkered down most of my trip. It was raining/snowing, very peaceful. There are two picnic tables on site, plus a fire pit. The shed features an awning over its porch with two Adirondack chairs for your convenience. The site overlooks the field.
I used a Mr buddy heater inside the shed for the night. I really got some warmth going.
I recommend this site to anyone looking for some true SOLITUDE!

This tiny cabin was a lovely weekend get away! Onancock is a cute town to visit, and lots of ways to get beach/water access nearby. We really enjoyed having access to appliances for cooking too. Mona is an awesome and attentive host. We had a great visit!

We stayed here on our honeymoon. It was absolutely perfect! The cabin was very clean and felt like home. The little town was beautiful and such a nice atmosphere. Mona went above and beyond to ensure our honeymoon was perfect. Would absolutely recommend her and her cabin.

We highly recommend staying at the Rustic Little Cabin. It’s so peaceful and cozy as well as clean. The kitchen has everything one needs and the bathroom is pretty with a great shower.
We ll definitely go back one day.

This is such a cute cabin with cozy furnishings and great amenities. We liked being secluded but close to the town and also not far from the beach. I would highly recommend this cabin to stay!

Mona’s little cabin was cute, cozy, and had all the essentials including a comfortable bed, couch, table and chairs, kitchen, dishes, utensils, bathroom, towels, and even a little porch with two chairs. There was also an air conditioner and fans. And WiFi. The cabin was located across from a farm. There were woods around. And the town of Onancock was a short drive away.

Absolutely beautiful place. So quiet and peaceful. The birds singing in the morning and throughout the day is just an added bonus. Very clean and maintained. Such wonderful aesthetics . Everything you could possibly need for a weekend of relaxation and peace.
It was hard to leave. Farmers market in the little town was a plus. Such friendly and welcoming people.
Mona is an exceptional host and you can tell she takes pride in her property. Very lovely space. I recommend ten out ten. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and comfortable. The bed is super comfy and the cabin set up is perfect Shower is amazing, Everything was perfect.

This was my first HIPCAMP experience and the folks at Cornerstone Farm were amazing. A quick check in to make sure we were settled, generous amount of firewood. Can’t wait until to visit again when the wildflowers bloom.
