Tri Mountain View Campground is located in the Northeast corner of Tennessee in the town of Shady Valley. With an elevation of 2,800 feet, Shady Valley is the second highest town in Tennessee. It is just 26 miles from the Bristol Raceway and the Bristol Caverns. It is just a 15 minute drive to Backbone rock and a short drive to the Appalachian Trail. The property was a Dairy Farm and went out of business in the late 90’s and since then there has been over 3,000 trees planted. Some of these trees include the rare Butternut and Hazelnut, but mostly White Pine, Walnut and Oaks. The property has approximately 1,000 feet of fishing on Beaver dam creek, so we recommend bringing waders. There is also a shower house, washer and dryer.

Great place to set up and tent camp, they tree's give you lot's of set up options and the bath house was very nice and close. There are RV spots as well and the folks there were all very nice. Got to meet the owner and his brother and both made sure we had everything we needed as it was a cold wet weekend.

Tom’s camper was the perfect getaway on a long weekend for this single mama and two kiddos! It’s perfectly located between the region’s three state parks, with cozy beds, ample heat, plenty of towels and bedding, and all the kitchenware needed. The hot tub, hammock, and fire pit were perfect - the wood and snores supplies were a great touch! The outdoor tv/projection screen were super easy to figure out thanks to their excellent instructions. My kids can’t wait to come back!

The most amazing views from camp!! Our hosts were very friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the provided space heater kept the yurt toasty warm on a 50 degree night. The yurt was a great alternative to setting up a tent and I felt like the price was incredible compared to similar options.

We enjoyed the yurt for our 41st anniversary. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were great! I want to know where the pillows were bought so I can have them for my own!!😀 the site was wonderful. We enjoyed a fire every day/night. The dryer did not work, so had to hang out to dry, they do have a clothes line. Very good camping experience. Yurt is smallish but can accommodate a twin blowup mattress. ♥️

Tim the on-site host was so helpful and accommodating! We booked site 2 (which was gorgeous and had an incredible view) then the storm started to roll in, I reached out to ask to borrow a tarp and tim did me one better, he helped us relocate to a site with tree coverage and an overhead tarp! It really turned a crummy day into a magical little evening. All of the sites were truly beautiful and since it was a week night there was only one other couple! Had bathrooms and laundry which is a crazy good bonus. Loved it here and would definitely come back if im in the area.

This was my favorite site of our 10 site tour. The location is incredible, not a bad view anywhere. We had the place to ourselves but the other campsites are spread out well. You can make friends or keep to yourself. There are lots of amenities at a great price, including wifi and a bathhouse. The hosts were really helpful. Nearby Damascus, VA was a treat. I hope we get to come back and stay awhile.
