Weekend Trip to Wildland Gardens
Great place and had a fun time at the Garden cabin! Even for early december and winter conditions, the room was very warm and we had a comfortable time at night. The host was very helpful and responsive when we had questions about firewood and the property. Definitely recommend and would love to visit again in summer if I have a chance!

We had a great time staying here! The barn was super cute, warm, and cosy, and the bathrooms were great.
Our only complaint is that there were five large dogs running around off leash the entire time we were there. Of course they were friendly to me and my parents, but my own dog does not always do well with other dogs. I barely let him out because I didn't want him to meet five other large dogs, especially when the owner was not in sight. I am not sure if these dogs live on site or belonged to another guest, but we would have appreciated stricter rules about dogs being kept on leash (as my dog was).

What a lovely place to stay! My sister and I brought our two very young kids and they LOVED all the animals and the open space to run around and play. Such beautiful views and easily accessible to hikes and so much more beauty! The kitchenette and bathrooms were well maintained and so appreciated. We were also grateful for the heater that kept us cozy during chilly nights. Highly recommend!

I had a really great time at Sandy beaches I was prepared for camping, pod nine was beautiful. I was ready to care for my trash, I knew I needed to keep my food cold. They figured out how to cool it down, slept well. I was glad to have a beautiful fire on the beach. Super cool. There were a lot of flies. I wasn’t ready for that. I look forward to going again.

We had such a wonderful stay at The Red Barn in Garden! Carrie Ann was an amazing host — so kind, responsive, and thoughtful. The place itself was beautiful and peaceful, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.
Carrie Ann went above and beyond to make us feel welcome (even sharing a sweet and delicious watermelon from the garden!). The barn and surrounding area were clean, cozy, and perfect for relaxing.
We also appreciated the little touches, like clear directions, helpful communication, and the warm hospitality throughout our stay.

After years of tent camping and backpacking, we splurged for a night of luxury at Carrie Ann's property. The tent was spacious, bed was comfortable, and the views at any time of day or night were just perfect. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the the bathrooms and kitchenette, too! The property was more run down on the outside then the photos but we all know we post pictures at our best, lots of over grown prickly bushes which is a Yuba thing but the listing just doesn't reflect that so fyi. It was hot as Hades in that box when I arrived and there is a portable swamp cooler but it mostly just made it humid and smell funny so I turned it back off and just opened windows and the sliding door. I was happy to have a bed and not tent it, that was my goal and this fit that perfectly, but it's still "camping" so be realistic in expectations. Bathroom was a smidge further than I imagined, it's a walk back down the road and up a hill. There were outlets by the bed and bar top but I couldn't get anything to plug in, just would not insert, luckily the ones by the bed had a USB port and the charger I had worked for that. The view in the morning was amazing overlooking the lake and since I was there in August it cools down a lot at night with windows open. Overall it was pleasant. The listing also said wifi available but when I searched for a network none were found, not even password protected ones. Closest gas station is back towards nephi just FYI so no quick stop for snacks, do it on the way or plan for the outting.

My stay at Wildland Garden, was absolutely perfect! The tents were spacious, beautifully decorated, and offered the perfect balance of comfort and adventure. Waking up to stunning mountain views and crisp, fresh air made my stay unforgettable. Carrie Ann went above and beyond to make sure everything was spotless and well-stocked, from cozy bedding to little touches like lanterns and firewood. The location is peaceful and private but still close enough to explore nearby trails and scenic spots. I can’t recommend this place enough – the ideal getaway for anyone wanting a unique and luxurious outdoor experience!

I LOVE staying here on my way through! The direction are clear, and overall the farm feels very welcoming and peaceful. I loved the goats and the curious turkey. I've stayed in both the cabin and the red barn, and they are both great. Love that pets are welcome, and I also left with an armful of veggies straight from the garden. Great stars no matter what time of year. Highly recommend.

Carrie Ann was responsive and accommodating. The glamping tent was cute, spacious, and comfortable.
The bathroom/kitchen were a huge huge plus, and very clean.
The property was beautiful and we had an incredible view of the night sky. I would highly recommend a stay here!

3 nights at Wildland Gardens
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Carrie’s campground. Carrie and her husband were very welcoming and informative. They gave us some great recommendations and we will definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area. The amenities and the facilities were superb. We are very simple people and needed minimal things at camp. We also came across other campers during our stay and enjoyed each other’s company. This is a very peaceful and community-based camp, if that doesn’t sound like you, please keep looking.

2 nights at Sandy Beach
I had the most relaxing stay at Sandy Beach. This was such a hidden gem!! I was traveling on my own as a 28 year old girl and felt very safe. I met so many kind people, and Parker was an amazing host. I ended up extending my stay and hope to be back as soon as possible!
