This was a very safe space with clean bathrooms and kitchen for use. Our tent was toasty upon arrival too. This place is fun because you meet people from around the world and have cool conversations. Being so close to town was nice as well cause you can be there in 5 minutes to walk the streets. Tons of stores and places to eat. Loved this experience and hiking the national parks!

Weekend Trip to The Views at Gateway

It was a beautiful spot, the cabin was nice. However, I was disappointed and left kind of at a disadvantage, because according to the description, there was supposed to be potable water on-site! There was not, There was also supposed to be electricity! There was not, did not see the bathroom pit either. The description indicated there would be a trundle bed, which there was, with one mattress on the upper part, no secondary mattress. The host was supposed to meet us on-site and never showed up. Luckily, we came prepared for some things. Had an air mattress to make up the difference. However, we shortered ourselves on water as we expected to have potable water on-site. Aside from the misrepresentation, it was a beautiful sight. And we did enjoy our stay.

Weekend Trip to HTR Moab

The loft cabins were awesome. Lots of room for my family of five. The kids loved the loft space, me and my wife got a room to ourselves. The kitchen space is good for cooking small meals, and the community kitchen offers even more cookware and space for larger ones. The site is centrally located, 25 or so minutes from Arches and 40 to Canyonlands. Awesome star views. Moab was awesome and we would for sure stay at HTR again!

Incredibly beautiful spot that feels far more removed from Grand Junction than it is. After camping in the national parks for a few days, being able to stretch out in the comfortable tipi and not set up our own site was pretty great. We also loved the sunset from the cliffs. Charles was not there when we arrived but he was easy to communicate with and provided everything we needed. One tip: Bring enough drinking/cooking water with you as the spigot is pretty far away from the tipi and requires you to get back into your vehicle.

Absolutely magical! 🌟 Staying at Charle’s Mountain View Tipi was like stepping into another world — a peaceful, awe-inspiring slice of rustic heaven tucked away in nature’s arms. The gigantic authentic tipi? Breathtaking. It’s spacious, beautifully designed, and radiates the perfect mix of adventure and comfort. Waking up to the mountain views with the fire pit gently crackling outside felt like a dream you never want to end. The setup is thoughtful and serene — you can tell a lot of care went into creating this space. We especially loved the little loop path leading past the bathroom area to the adorable smaller tipi, which adds even more charm and whimsy to the experience. The bathroom area was well-maintained and had all the essentials, and honestly, having that kind of convenience in such a natural setting was a huge plus. If we could wish for one thing, it would be a more defined trail to the bathroom area, especially at night. But even that didn’t take away from the overall wonder of the stay — it just added a touch more adventure! If you’re looking for a unique, soul-soothing escape with serious wow-factor, this is it.
