Beautiful and peaceful setting. Very clear directions and instructions. It was wonderful having full hook-up! And an extra nice surprise to receive a gift of coffee! Thank you! It was close to the parks we wanted to visit and our dog enjoyed some off-leash time with us. We very much enjoyed our stay there and most definitely would stay again.

Not far from Capital Reef and Torey is a cool little town. Close by. Easy access. It’s like BLM camping with full hookups.

Privacy and views were great. The hookups were straightforward (especially once I got the longer connector hose that was available to borrow) and well maintained. The host qas responsive and helpful but not intrusive. Five stars... And thousands more to see above with the great dark sky conditions. My wife and I loved staying here.

A beautiful and peaceful spot! A great location for stargazing and enjoying your morning coffee while hearing the birds sing and cows mooing in the distance.
The host provided excellent directions and offered detailed information. They also graciously provided us with a bag of local coffee to enjoy. Very thoughtful.

Everything was as advertised. We were able to find a level shady spot to park our two vehicles and trailers. The swing was a treat for the kids and the portapotty was satisfactory (could use some service, but it didn’t stink). We enjoyed checking out Pine Lake. Water was available about 10 minutes away at Pine Lake Campground, so we filled our water jugs there.

Tim is extremely welcoming, and has a great set up for Hip Camp. If you are ever in the Bryce Canyon area - we highly recommend staying at this site. It was close to the park, but also featured bike and walking trails right off of the camp to explore when back at our camper. Thank you so much for being so kind and accommodating - - you helped make our trip to the Mighty 5 memorable!

Wonderful peaceful spot. Minor road noise, but not intrusive. Overall it feels isolated with no near neighbors. Great view across the pasture to Boulder Mountain. Hookups worked well. Easy entry. We love staying here for a few days every year to do hikes in Capitol Reef and Boulder Mtn, as well as biking . Always worth the drive to Boulder for a dinner at Hells Backbone Grill.

Nestled into the red rock cliffs, the home blends naturally into its surroundings while offering comfort and character you won't find anywhere else. The interior is cozy and thoughtfully designed, with all the essentials-plus some magical touches that make the space feel like a retreat from reality. The highlight? The private swimming hole just a short walk from the cave. Refreshing water sounded by canyon walls-it was the perfect way to cool off and enjoy the desert landscape. We spent our mornings sipping coffee at the cave's entrance with breathtaking views, and afternoons relaxing by the water or exploring nearby trails. What really made this place special were the animals. Friendly horses roam the property. A sweet dog was our constant companion during morning coffee and a laid-back cat made itself at home on our porch, adding a homey feel. It felt like staying in a little desert sanctuary with its own four-legged welcoming committee. If you are looking for something truly off the beaten path-with beauty, peace, and a touch of wild magic-this is the place. It is totally different-peaceful, off-grid and unforgettable. We didn't want to leave! Perfect for adventurous couples or small families who want to disconnect and immerse themselves in nature. We spent our annual girls trip staying here. Highly recommend!
