In the upstairs loft there are 2 full-size memory foam mattresses, and a 32-inch Roku. Please note that adults and teens can’t fully stand up in the loft. The loft is better suited for small children. Adults and teens can sleep upstairs, just know you have crawl on your hands and knees.
Max occupancy is 6, but no more than 4 adults within the group.
In the living room you will find a brand-new sofa and a built-in electric fireplace, with a 42-inch Roku TV, so grab a blanket curl up watch a movie and relax. There is also some family friendly games for your enjoyment.
All TVs are Roku TVs, you must have your own password to log in to any streaming apps. We also have spectrum cable TV. for you to enjoy as well.
The cabin also has a stackable washer and dryer for guests to use.
In the brand-new fully renovated kitchen, you will find all new appliances. 5 burner stove, stainless steel refrigerator, microwave, stainless steel deep sink with a brand new commercial faucet. The kitchen also has beautiful butcher block countertops, and brand new cabinets. The kitchen is fully stocked with all your pots and pans and cooking utensils that you will need.

WATER LEVEL and FLOW
The water level in photos are accurate. The water level has dropped 12 feet since March 2023, to rebuild the dam that created our lake. There is a certain flow requirement downstream from our property, so we maintain a minimum flow and consistent level/depth regardless of rainfall.
Depth varies from 4 feet at our stairs to 10+ feet in the middle of the channel. Additionally, there's no boat traffic, so it's ideal for kayaking and fishing year round.
Water flow slows in warmer seasons, and plumes of button moss intermittently float up from the bottom, collecting at water's edge. We still swim among the button moss, but it may not be ideal for some. Unfortunately, there's no way to predict when it will emerge and how long it stays.

-"The Bunkhouse" is still comfortable with a King Size bed (we can also convert to 2 singles if needed). This unit has a seperate living space with a mini-fridge and microwave, but no bathroom in the unit. We have an outdoor shower and poolside bathroom for use.
-We also have 2 campsites on the open space for tent setup and camping under the stars. (no outdoor fires allowed) Access to the outdoor shower and pool bathroom.
-The pool area is a shared space during your stay.

Weekend Trip to The Outpost
This place was so great in every way - the deck was perfect for coffee, a cocktail, and a dip in the hot tub. Jessica was so responsive and helpful, the trail on the property was awesome and we explored all over. There was so much attention to detail here and it’s an outstanding place to stay. So eclectic. Still close to everything, but sitting on the deck was quiet and full of nature. Even enjoyed peeping some chicks with the chickens that were roaming around 🥰

The community and vibe was great. everyone was respectful and abided by the rules. The Awaken cabin was perfect for me. Animals are not allowed in this one but are allowed at other cabins, and this makes sense because it is so small, 1 human fits perfectly in there. I would and will likely come back to this campground soon, love their property and they had everything you need.

A great place for a couple of nights away! Spacious and beautiful backyard, which our dogs certainly enjoyed. Since weather was rainy and wet, we didn’t get to use the outdoor space, but it would’ve been the best spot to unwind and hang out. Plenty of outdoor furniture and a beautiful deck. Great space inside, too, with everything we needed for a couple of nights away. Would definitely stay again if our travels take us that way.

Leah’s place is such a peaceful and welcoming spot! The land is spacious and beautifully maintained, with lots of room to spread out and enjoy nature. I was greeted by her sweet and friendly dog, which was such a fun surprise. The pool is perfect for cooling off on a warm day, and there’s a cozy hammock tucked under the trees that’s great for relaxing with a book. I also loved the fire pit area—it’s a great setup for sitting under the stars. Overall, it’s a quiet, charming spot with everything you need for a relaxing outdoor getaway.

such a lovely spot in the hill country! the cabin was very cozy and comfortable for my family of 4. it’s situated perfectly to watch the sun rise and set and see the stars at night. marlena was also a wonderful host and very responsive.
