We had a great time at this camp. Well kept and maintained, also private. We were able to fish also our dogs had fun. As expected, since close to water mosquitos can get in the way but come prepared and you will be all right.

Our experience at the place was spectacular. It should be noted that there "THERE ARE BATHROOMS", THERE ARE also SHOWERS. The attention was spectacular. The place is very clean. I just want to emphasize that the entrance is until 7pm. So if you plan to go camping you must arrive before 7pm. I recommend this place 100%

What a beautiful park like setting! Plenty of space for our Motorhome and toad. Wonderful animals and small petting zoo. Owners are very friendly and hospitable. We really enjoyed our stay and it was far above our expectations.

It was wild to be able to camp next to animals. Definitely recommend if that’s what you’re looking for. There’s restroom next to camp and Bethany is extremely nice and accommodating. We’ll definitely camp here again !

My dog and I enjoyed a quiet peaceful visit to Magnolia Gardens and were so relaxed walking along the San Jacinto River while the train made its way across the old trestle bridge at the far end of the park. Very nice place and the sunset over the river was icing on the cake! Thanks!

We had a great time. Took the family and three dogs. Has a dedicated fenced dog run. Very private location right on the Bayou. Has a great private dock with good fishing. Caught redfish, blue crabs, spotted sea trout, black drum, catfish, bluegill, ladyfish and alligator gar all in one spot. The hookups were in the perfect location and did not require a long 50amp cord or septic hoses. Surfside beach is only 18 minutes away for your beach fix and good food. 10/10 would recommend to anyone. Great host and great spot.

Amazing experience at this campsite! Camping area is beautiful , and the owners are nice as can be and attentive just in case we needed anything. The animals paid us a visit making the experience even more worth it. 10/10 would recommend and most definitely will be back. Access to bathrooms are an added comfort and I caught a HUGE bass out of the pond before setting em free. Very appreciative of a memory I won’t soon forget.

Open to public 7am-7pm very lively with jet skies, people playing, music, and cook outs. Once all non-campers leave its very calm area and you have the whole property to yourself. Wake up to a beautiful scenery. There're lose dogs but calm and don't bother anyone. Staff is very friendly. Clean place trash cans placed around property and dumped out daily, clean restrooms, rarely any branches

We had a great stay! The owners were very friendly and helpful. The kids loved meeting all of the cute farm critters. We set up our tent facing one of the ponds and watched the sun rise from our tent. We loved that there was an air-conditioned bathroom with running water not far from the campground and a playground for the kids. The donkey family visited us during the night, and we fell in love with the baby donkey who was jumping around having the time of its life. Looking forward to our next stay!

It was a little confusing as there was no designated Campspot. Just a lot of picnic tables. So we parked near one and set up camp with our RV for the night. We loved how private it was and quiet it was. Now that I understand how it works. I would definitely go back again.

It was the perfect camp set up. A hill overlooking the river and nobody crowding your site. The Managers were sincere and friendly. Maria brought fresh coffee at 7 am and hung out with us. Real good people. Loved everything about it! Definitely coming back!

Bethany was helpful and accommodating, especially considering the last minute nature of my booking. I was only there for a quick overnight stop, but looks like a great place when they have events. There's a barbecue food truck, restrooms, animals, playground for the kids, and a large communal fire pit area.

2 nights at Skoolie in the City
Very comfortable stay with heaters to keep it warm even with overnight temperatures being cold. Bus was hooked up to power and water and gas making it a fully equipped place to stay for a quick shower, using the toilet, and cooking. I even got a little hot at one point the first night with the heaters and warm clothing. Easy to find, easy to park, and not too far away from the suburbs and downtown

Nice place along a beautiful the river. Not a lot of other folks here in December so you have your choice of camping spots. Bring bug repellant. Two things to note, the gates are closed from 7pm - 7am. I believe you can make arrangements for later arrival but I would do so well before arriving. Also, there are a few off leash dogs that seem to be full-timers. They keep to themselves for the most part but consider this if you have your own pets with you.
