However, there are a couple of great camping spots right off the road. If you are adventurous there are even more spots a short hike away down into the valley. Weekend Trip to Star Gazer's Primitive Camping Site

Just spent one evening out there. Great views. It can get windy. Just make sure you anchor your tent and it will be just fine. Very nice. I will be staying here again. The information provided was very helpful in finding the place. I really enjoyed my time out there.
