One of the special features of the main house is a charming atrium inside, where you’ll find a beautiful tree, a relaxing fountain, and some tables perfect for sitting down in the morning to enjoy a peaceful cup of coffee surrounded by nature.
Main House Layout: First Floor: There are two bedrooms with king-sized beds. One of these rooms also has a sofa bed. There's also a TV room with another sofa bed. Additionally, two folding beds are available on this floor.
Second Floor: There is one bedroom with a queen-sized bed and a pop-up trundle bed (equivalent to two full-size beds). In the living room, there's another sofa bed.
The house is set up to comfortably accommodate three couples, each with two children. There’s a gas barbecue grill and outdoor dining tables — perfect for a small family celebration or a quiet evening meal. Some of the most cherished moments at Infinity Paradise happen at night — sitting outside on the deck in the lakeside kiosk (kioske del lago), watching the stars light up the sky or enjoying the glow of a full moon reflected on the water. And in the early morning, nothing beats a peaceful walk while listening to the birds sing — a perfect way to start the day. This is a great location for a safe place to stay! It is very conveniently located near the centre of Fort Worth with some really great scenery along the way. We met Sam - he’s a great guy, very friendly and very accommodating.

This was a wonderful find!!! Sam and Sarah were able to get us in for our last minute trip. We arrived on Christmas Day and they took the time out their day to greet us and bring us homemade peanut brittle. The location is a quick drive to Fort Worth but was far enough out of town that we didn’t have to deal with Texas traffic with our camper. We can’t wait to come back!!

Lone Oak RV Retreat and Ranch is the cutest little community. Nestled in a serene setting, this hidden gem offers a peaceful escape for RVers and those who would prefer to stay in a guest house. One of the most endearing aspects of Lone Oak is its warm and welcoming atmosphere. The friendly staff and long-term RVers made it easy to feel right at home. For families with children, the on-site farm/petting zoo provides endless entertainment. There's also a pool for the warmer months. The Rodeo Cafe is open from 10 AM to 2 PM on Sundays and Mondays and offers a delicious lunch buffet. The 24-hour lounge is equipped with laundry machines, a TV, and a vending machine. The campground offers strong Wi-Fi and the well-maintained nature trails are great for peaceful walks. There are bonfire pits, basketball hoops, a beautiful old chapel, and tons of guest rooms available for affordable prices. Lots to see and explore on these 81 acres.
Overall, Lone Oak RV Retreat and Ranch is a fantastic place to unwind and recharge outside the city. Its combination of friendly people, great amenities, and beautiful surroundings makes it a truly special destination. I hope more guests find out about it and it grows into its full potential!

We stayed 4 nights at Friends in RV Spaces and it was great. We had plenty of room for our 31ft travel trailer with space left over for our dog fence. It is close enough to the city to be convenient as we were there visiting friends, but far enough away that its nice and quiet in the evenings. We were greeted when we got there and they were very kind. There is a bit of noise from the neighbors as we were told they run a dog rescue. We could hear the dogs when we were outside but it was certainly not loud enough to keep us up at night. We have 3 dogs ourselves that travel with us so we are not to terribly sensitive to the barking. We had a great stay and would stay again if we were coming back through the area.

Prairie Creek Park
This urban park differs from most because it’s home to a waterfall. Here, you can walk, bike, and dip into the water. With no skyscrapers in sight and lush forests all around, you really will feel like you’ve escaped into nature. This is a great place to bring a picnic lunch, especially with kids, as there are plenty of picnic benches and tables to enjoy.
Lake Lavon
About 40 minutes from Richardson is Lake Lavon, a great place for swimming, boating, fishing, camping, and more. There are parks and campgrounds situated all around the lake, including Clear Lake Park, East Fork Park, Avalon Park, and Lavonia Park. Lake Lavon also has two boat rental locations, including Woody’s on the Lake and Collin Park Marina.
Lake Lewisville
At nearly 30,000 acres, this large reservoir is known for having warm waters and beautiful shores. Like many other lakes in Texas, this lake has options for camping, boating, fishing, swimming, and more. At the base of this lake stretches LLELA Nature Preserve, a green space featuring historic sites that can be viewed via a visitor center, walking trails, and kayaking.

The best time to visit Richardson, Texas is in the spring and fall. Specifically, September and November have the best temperatures without having the crowds of summer, so you can enjoy more access to camping sites, beaches, and other amenities.
