The Comanche were quite active up and down this part of the Brazos when the earliest settlers arrived around 1850, until the Comanches' eventual conquest by the Texas Rangers and their Colt pistols around 1870; we have found lots of flint and some arrowheads on high places here. Going further back in history, the Fuller's Folly River Ranch has an abundance of petrified wood, they say that if you have fossilized sea shells you were under water, but if you have petrified wood you had land creatures. Hunting for petrified wood is a fun adventure here. (But leave them for the next person to discover!) Weatherford is only 10 minutes away and Granbury is only 20 minutes away; both have great restaurants. My friends and I loved our little getaway in the airstream. Their family was so welcoming! The animals were all nice and fun to be around. The actually camper was so cute and perfect for what we were looking for. The town itself was also such a sweet place. I highly recommend!!

Very unique property, hope they add the animals at some point. Utilities worked fine. Only concern is the road is tight for a 5th wheel with low limbs in some spots. Very quiet and peaceful.

I loved staying in the magical tipi on Melissa’s land. A truly remarkable experience with amazing breakfast as well. I stayed for three nights and never tired of the entrance to the enchanted garden, the energy of the tipi, the wonderful hammock and garden chairs to lounge in, and relaxing bathtub (and soothing record player). An unforgettable experience, right in Denton.

First it is better looking in person. I loved the out building that we were able to use. There was indoor and outdoor shower which was nice. The cats stayed with us the entire time and escorted us around the property. I don’t really care for cats that much but those cats had me considering getting some. The camper had everything we needed. Thanks for the grill and checking to make sure we had clean towels. Beautiful place

Everything was perfect! Clear directions, simple check-in, beautiful location, so many activities within walking distance. We stayed at the Magical Treehouse for the 4th of July and had a great time hiking, swimming at the river, and grilling on the covered patio.
