Located at the end of the road. There is over 20 acres. Some cleared and some still in original woods. Trees, grass and deer everywhere. There is over a quarter mile of Brazos riverfront property although you cannot get to the river on all of it due to it being in its natural state. There is a beach at the main camp that provides easy in and out of the water. the water depth varies with the rainfall but is usually between 2-4 feet deep.

We loved tent camping on Amy's land! Everyone very kind and the area is beautiful and relaxing we had a wonderful time fishing and just being outdoors in nature. It reminded me of childhood spent on my grandparents farm. With all the goats, chickens and ducks etc.

Amy's place is always a welcome reprieve from the world. Situated on a nice piece of property along the river, it is a very chill vibe. If you are tent camping, I recommend the Far Far Away site. This is my second time here, and it's apparent that continued improvements have been made. She did have to shut down the honor system store because.... well, people suck. And I hate that for Amy, because she is such a sweet lady. But I understand the decision. If you come here, please be kind, respectful, and pick up any trash you see from previous campers.

Great beautiful spot for my impromptu get away this weekend! My campsite had a beautiful view of the river and a great spot to put up my hammock overlooking the river as well. I’ll definitely need to plan a trip back when the river goes down and the weather decides to behave! The owners are very friendly as well!

GREAT OUT OF THE WAY AND HIDDEN CAMPING ON THE BRAZOS! We pitched a tent in between lots of trees and on the river. Don’t expect it to be manicured. Decent showers and restrooms within walking distance- in a style that one would expect at a campground with this name Gypsy in it. Very relaxed campground . Very friendly Owners/ hosts.

This was a wonderful spot to camp! We stayed at the Foxhollow site, and it was perfectly shaded with lots of flat ground for tents. The river access with the little beach was perfectly shaded for a relaxing day in the water. A truly great getaway!

Gipsy Moon was a great place for tent camping! The folks there are friendly and helpful, and the sites are lovely and clean. Generally, the campground was quiet and peaceful. We had two five-year-olds with us and they loved swimming in the river and petting all of the goats! We’d recommend, for sure.
