We loved the privacy of site #15 and the property was beautiful! Firewood was stocked by our site which was super convenient. No picnic table at the site but we made do! We went up to the winery for lunch one day which was super nice.

Walt has a little hilly, scenic, perfect paradise in the middle of pasture land Texas USA. Absolutely would recommend! Don’t however expect comforts at your RV or campsites. You’ll have to get that at his beautiful winery’s tasting room on top of the hill.

Lucky 13, my 1st camping trip was perfect! This is a smaller compact, spot, as described. The spots were nicely marked and the handbook provided all the necessary info! I camped prior to the trail race. The trail is in great shape and well marked, even without the race. This is a nice getaway. The hill to get down and up to the winery is a bit scary unless you are in AWD or a truck. Take it slow.

The sites are large and well laid out with plenty of separation from neighboring sites. The hiking trail is easily accessible and is nice because it is one huge loop, so you can't really get lost. We loved site 14 and it has plenty of shade. Having access to free firewood on site was a huge plus on a couple of chilly nights/mornings.

The kind gost met us after dark when we drove in. He helped us get safely to our spot. It was a peaceful, lovely, lakeside rv spot.

Hidden amount the Texas plains and the occasional wind mill farm, once you crest the hill you find 4R Ranch Winery hidden. This location is very nice. Spaces are reasonably spaced out providing a sense of privacy. Very clear sky to watch the stars and every spot had a fire ring. Piece of advice: READ the pdf on their website. It's a very well written instruction guide on the land, how to navigate to your spot and the property. It describes all of the spots to help determine which one is best to reserve. I will be attending this location again for sure.

A perfect, secluded, well-taken-care-of property not far from the metroplex...WHAT A FIND! Walt and the 4R team have created an amazing space for us normies to come and relax! I stayed at Camp Site 7, but will return to try 8, one of the dispersed spots, and the VIP area! The firewood, toilet, and shower facilities are a huge plus. I was shocked to be the only camper out there last Friday Night. The property is an active winery with a tasting room, I will definitely be back to try some of their wines and a charcuterie board!

We loved camping at 4R Ranch and Winery! Campsite 7, is pretty isolated and definitely a prime spot! It is so quiet, at night you can see all the stars, and peaceful. I would definitely recommend this spot. Also a great spot to bring dogs!
