Weekend Trip to Regency Bridge Park

This was such a lovely place to stay! Plenty of beautiful trees and shade, some nice grassy areas towards the river, tons of space to spread out! We had a great time and would definitely recommend this place to others.

1 night at Regency Bridge Park

It was a nice quiet campground right next to the suspension bridge. You can easily access the bridge for pictures. Camp also had river access, but it was muddy the day we stayed.

It was exactly as advertised. The river was low. Rainfall is needed. But….we will stay there again. If you want a camping experience off the beaten path, this is it. Only cars heard were those coming to and from the campground. The bridge is super cool. Place was clean. Hosts were attentive. Thanks!

Weekend Trip to Orrasis Ranch

I LOVED the Bait House! It was just the right size for a getaway with myself and my dog. I think 2 adults max would be comfortable here. It had everything I needed and more. The outdoor shower was a delightful experience. The only downside for me was they have chickens and roosters on the property and I was awoken by the cock-a-doodle-do before dawn every morning. The house was is located near a few parks so we were able to enjoy hiking within 10 minutes from the property. Downtown Marble Falls is also about 10 min away if you want local dining experiences, which I did grab takeout from 2 different restaurants while I was there. Overall it was a nice little getaway and great location!

Two other campers in the park while I was there. One was most kind, helping to back in my trailer. Although there is lots of road noise from the traffic, it was quiet overnight. A huge rooster stopped by in the morning to make sure I was awake.

Great spot for the night. Extremely quiet in Ashley’s back pasture. Easy access. Quick and easy communication.

Absolutely beautiful perfectly manicured landscaped resort campground. The swimming pool was also at a resort quality level. The campground was hilly making the views breathtaking. Everything was so well maintained and clean. Will definitely recommend FireFly campgrounds to family and friends as well as go back there myself.

It was a nice cool night! While most state parks were booked on a Saturday night. Coyotes were howling at night.. made it perfect!! Moon was full!! We were able to find this great location within 5min.. This will be our go to site!

We enjoyed camping on Kegan's remote, interesting land. It was a perfect place for a one night stop. The directions were easy. Wifi worked great. We woke up to about a dozen Turkey roaming around camp!

Beautiful and peaceful location. The river is beautiful and having the bridge right add to the view. It’s very quiet with not many cars going by, so it’s a great place to relax.

The site has a 50 amps plug, sewer hookup and water. It is close to Lampassas, which has an HEB, 12 minutes and close to the Lampassas River. We are 10 minutes from Copperas Cove which has a huge HEB. Close to Austin, 1.5 hours. HEB, is 12 minutes away. Ft. Cavazos is 20 minutes away, Temple is 40 minutes away. We have a trash bin No open flames, you can have a propane fire and gas grill.

My kids are homeschooled so they are always around to help out or play if you have kids camping with you! We are an hour drive from Austin, close to Lake Travis and Lake Buchanan. Actual Camp Spots may vary based on bookings and farm activities. We ensure you will have a spot that is right for you. We reserve the right to move you to any location on our farm at the time of check in ECLIPSE 2024!!!!! Yes we are on the DIRECT path for the Eclipse. Currently estimated to have 4.5 minutes of totality. At the time of this update (September 2023) We have 10 spots available with standard primitive camping as well as Tent camping without generators. We are discussing amenities at this time and will update the description as amenities are confirmed. The price may change as amenities are added however if you have already booked the price at time of booking will be honored for you.
