Pastures are mowed three times a year and always look beautiful. There is some terrain that is rough and the land has not been traveled. Bring machetes and a compass (We are not a rescue team). The land is ready to be loved by our visitors. The llamas will come to greet you and so will many more things in this wonderful place. I didn’t get the chance to meet Judy in person, but she was nothing but responsive and helpful! I only got the Day Pass so i could get a lay for the land and spend some time in nature, and even if I couldn’t stay for long, it was a wonderful and peaceful time. Definitely will be booking a campsite in the future (and buying some food for the llamas!) when the weather warms up a bit, cause I would love to come back and stay for the whole day. PS: the cat wandering the property was an absolute sweetheart. Didn’t expect to make a friend while I was there!

My kids had a blast. There's a little playground. Getting to see new baby goats was the best thing ever. Lots of area to explore. We got to see many different kinds of mushrooms in the woods.(just looked, didn't pick any). The cabin was nice. Had spots for everyone. We will be back in the spring for berry season!

We had a wonderful time at Llamaland Ranch Judy was so welcoming and very responsive to our questions and requests. My daughter loved interacting with the Llamas and running around the big open spaces. We loved sitting by the fire and star gazing. We even caught a few shooting stars. The drive from Dallas was quick and easy. We will be camping at Llamaland Ranch again.

Our trip on Christopher’s land was fantastic! The property was beautiful and a wonderful escape from the city. The pond was a really nice element, and we manage to catch a perch and a bass before a cold front came in. Christopher was very attentive and even brought us extra firewood when we requested it after arrival! His hospitality was extraordinary. The process was very simple and I would certainly return to this spot in the future.

Had an awesome tent camping experience here at Tara Vineyard and Winery! First of there are adorable animals 💜. Secondly the bathroom amenities were super clean! Note that the shower is an outdoor shower so be sure to bring a bathing suit to shower in. The shower water was lukewarm, but honestly didn’t bother me. Overall had a great time camping here. Sadly, we didn’t make time to try out the winery, but guess we’ll have to come back and try it out! The charcuterie boards looked amazing though 😍!

Lamas everywhere, much touch, good fun. Good campsite, chose to camp outside enclosure but camping inside with the lamas is an option. I was worried they might be too pushy bit they were very friendly, only really pushed if you had food for them, then they'd surround you. Very large area, free to walk around, lovely vibes.

Great place to camp with Lynda and Reston being great hosts! We got in very late due to an unseen emergency and Reston still escorted us to our camp site. The grounds were great with so much room to explore. The Haunt was awesome and being able to order breakfast the last day was so much easier for pack up.

Thank you Judy and Al, me and my boyfriend loved spending 2 nights on the sanctuary lot. The trees provided the perfect amount of shade for the hot weekend. It was my first time seeing llamas and they were way bigger than I thought they would be, but they were gentle giants! One even gave me a kiss on the cheek when I wasn’t paying attention. There were cute kitties and puppies on the land as well. One small cat with orange splotches was so sweet and guarded our tent all night. We wanted to steal her so bad. There were lots of other campers there too but we were all very spread out, no noise from them at all.
