Hi campers, we have 100+ acres for your next camping adventure. You select campsite, First come first serve for your campsite. Camping allowed anywhere within the 100+ fenced areas. We have 5 ponds and gorgeous oak trees, accompanied by excellent sunrise/sunset views accessible to all. Fires allowed per county regulations. (Wood provided) Helicopters welcome to land and camp

Beautiful space with easy access to 20, only a short drive to groceries and supplies. Nobody else in site, amazing stargazing and listening to the sounds of nature. We caught a bunch of catfish and sunfish from the little pond, had a great fire and enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets. It is very soft grass so be careful if it’s raining as it’s easy to get stuck further from the gate. Will be back!!

My second time out to the location. Grass was a little longer this time but it didn't take away from my ability to setup camp, make a good meal, and relax enjoying the outdoors. Though every place in Texas has them, I didn't run into any ant hills where I setup.

Endless skies, vast fields

The land is expansive, perfect for group camping with plenty of flat, open space. It can get windy, and the hum of the interstate is noticeable, but it never distracted from the peaceful outdoor experience or a restful night’s sleep. I look forward to returning, whether with others or for another solo getaway.

Beautiful property, nice host. Everything would have been great if it hadn’t been from a neighbor playing music too loud all night. Loved everything else though.

This is a lovely spot in a place where there are few opportunities to camp. We were there in the spring, so the grass was deep and lush. I'm not sure what it would be like in midsummer. The campsites are scattered amongst a number of ponds which are full of life including some catchable sunfish. Lots of room for kids and dogs to run. Cody and his son were great hosts, and had some useful information to share. Just 50 miles outside of Dallas, but a world away in rural Texas.

Cody’s hipcamp was great and he is friendly and responsive. We saw the eclipse at his place and it was truly an experience - unblocked views everywhere and no one around
