Established 1996, The farm is situated just minutes from Magnolia-Silos, the Dr. Pepper museum, Baylor University,  the Texas Ranger museum, BSR Waterpark, the Waco Mammoth National Monument (US National Park Service),  and plenty of magnificent restaurants.  There are no power lines over the property so I invite you to bring a kite to fly! You may even see one or two of mine in the sky. The theme of Coyote Creek Farm is tranquility. It is camping without someone crowding into your space. It is freedom from the hectic pace of the city. There is a well maintained Compost Toilet on the property as well! Each individual campsite has a portable potty bucket provided.  Nearly any spot you are on has an amazingly delightful view. You can see the sun rise over the trees or the sun set behind a gently sloping hill. You will have access to all of the 30 acres. There are paths to walk, a stocked tank to fish in, (bass, catfish and blue gill),  and oak and pecan trees to sit under and view the clouds as they drift overhead. The noises you hear will be cattle calling to their little ones, birds singing, and in the evenings, coyotes howling.

Weekend Trip to Big Rocks on the Brazos

Its a lovely little place tucked away in the backroads. The hosts are wonderful! The access to the lake is easy to get to. We had views of a bluebonnet filled field and cute little cabins along the lake. The site had FULL HOOK UPs, picnic table and firepit to use if desired. The river access had breathtaking views of the cliffs across as well as upstream and downstream. There is places to fish and swim near by. We can wait to go back!

This spot was exactly what we were looking for. We love to camp and were looking for a perfect camping spot to pitch our tent. This was that spot. Off busy roads; nice, quiet and peaceful. My stay at Coyote Creek Farm went well. The space was quiet and easy to access. There was a sign signifying the turn in to the property at the beginning of the driveway. Host Regena was great and provided any needed info and help upon arrival. l enjoyed a beautiful sunset and the sounds of the wild turkeys and coyotes in the distance. There was also a fire ring, a picnic table, and trash receptacle at the site.

We stayed at Site 1 and absolutely loved it. The view of the riverbank was perfect, peaceful and beautiful. It was ultra quiet, which made it even more relaxing. Our kids (almost 2 and 7) had so much fun running around and playing games in the open space. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm, scenic spot to unwind with family!
