The last 5 miles of the drive are on a "Red Dirt Road" and it can be bumpy or even slippery if it's rained recently. I've never heard of any issues in any vehicles but it's a county road. You will leave with red dirt on your vehicle but that's part of the appeal, the secluded getaway :)
Once you start down the driveway you'll see the lake through the trees, making the rough 5-mile ride worth it.

Baker's Cabin is in the country. Located about 25 minutes from Centerville, it makes for an easy weekend getaway from the Houston or Dallas areas. As you drive from interstate, to highway, to county road to dirt road and over a single lane wooden bridge, you feel yourself start to unwind and relax.
This cabin is located on a private dirt road (too much rain can make things muddy). You'll be given gate access for entrance. As you drive down the dirt road, you'll find our light blue cabin on stilts. Because the cabin is raised, you have a great entertainment space sheltered from the weather. You can hang out, swing and play games all downstairs. We also have a firepit for cooler evenings.

I had so much fun with my pup at the ranch! It was a wonderful experience and one I absolutely want to have again. My dog and I were able to explore the property and I love that he was able to be off leash. He is a very well behaved dog and it was lovely he got to be wild and free.
