We do have a neighborhood close by but you can’t see or hear them due to the woods.  In my travels, I try to bring back something I’ve seen or learned to help improve the guest experience and environment. You’ll notice little touches of Asia, Mexico, and even Hill Country Texas! We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service and treat every guest like family. We’re always a text away! We tent camped for the Thanksgiving weekend and it was lovely! The wheelbarrow available for use was clutch for the walk-in site. Even though it was mostly flat, it saved us the hassle of carrying things down and back. They sell wood and are easily available for questions or if you need to place an order via text. The bathrooms were clean, had TP, and the water was hot! They are the main bathrooms for the whole property and are right next to our car park, so pretty convenient. Recommend a luggable loo otherwise. We were the only campers so had our pick of site. For this time of year, only appeared that half of the sites wouldve been useable. Some were muddy from deer and recent rains, plenty of room to spread out, though. There was unfortunately some glass spread around (user's fault, not properties) so be careful with pets or in warmer months, being barefoot. The beach was really clean and you can tell they do regular cleanups. Appreciated the extra social areas and walking the property was a great hike. It was super peaceful on the calm nights and cozy on the windy ones. Very much recommend this site and would return!

Absolutely amazing!!! I can’t wait to come back. Melissa was the best house and the property was even better than I expected. I was so comfortable, secure and felt like I was totally isolated. At the same time, I knew help or something I needed was just a text away. The fire pit made cooking a breeze, and I spent so much time in the sauna. The bathtub was amazing and fully stocked!

This was my first Hipcamp stay and Sam and Sarah came to meet us shortly after we arrived and had everything ready as we pulled in. Hook up was great. They have great amenities. Sam spoke to us about his slice of heaven and walked with me to meet his chickens. Thank you so much. We will be back

The cabin and park is just amazing it feels so cozy and the view of the lake is incredible. Can’t wait to go back! If the wind is too high in the lake for paddling there is a cove next to the cabin area that is great for paddling and blocked from the wind.

Weekend Trip to Farm Tipi with Sauna

This place was amazing! Melissa met us as we pulled in. My two little ones immediately adored her. She was so nice and welcoming. I was honestly blown away with how secluded and “in the woods out in the middle of nowhere” it felt. The boys (6 and 3) and I haven’t done a real camping trip yet and I wanted to do kind of a trial run first. It honestly couldn’t have went better. They said it felt like we went through a portal! We had plenty of fire wood to roast marshmallows and hot dogs and the boys loved the teepee! Thank you again Melissa for such an amazing experience!

Extremely down the Earth folks and a nice getaway from the RV park bustle. The owners are helpful if a need arises during your stay. Ohhhhh…..and beautiful wild flowers this spring around the area….!
