There is road noise. Highway 29 can be busy at times, despite being a two-lane road. Quiet hours are after 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.
Access to our river site is included in your camping fee. This secluded hike-to (~ 1-2 minute walk) site is peaceful with limestone cliff views and no visible homes or signs of civilization. The trail head is accessed by a dirt road that winds around our corn field and into the woods, and can be accessed by any vehicle in normal weather conditions. We will provide warning/refunds if the river road becomes 4x4 only. Fishing is allowed with a valid Texas fishing license. There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please (day or night!).

Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! Kaz father was Asperger's Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. We don't have hills like that in south Louisiana! Great experience and fun place to camp. Didn't see anyone else while we were there. My kids and dogs had a great time exploring. Chose this place because of its proximity to Hidden Falls and LCRA parks we wanted to visit, and I'm glad we did. Would definitely stay again when we're in the area again. I had to reschedule our trip at the last minute due to an emergency at work and it was seamless, no issues at all. I also had to work remotely one day we were there and the phone signal was great.

Its a lovely little place tucked away in the backroads. The hosts are wonderful! The access to the lake is easy to get to. We had views of a bluebonnet filled field and cute little cabins along the lake. The site had FULL HOOK UPs, picnic table and firepit to use if desired. The river access had breathtaking views of the cliffs across as well as upstream and downstream. There is places to fish and swim near by. We can wait to go back!

We camped at the Pasture Mingle spot and thoroughly enjoyed watching the horses, ponies, and Mr. Sheep. The Mother Tree is definitely the spot at Makayla's though and will try for that one when we return. Be aware that other than the Mother Tree site, the sites are wide open with no trees. The river was a very nice recpite from the hotter than usual weekend. It's deep enough for sitting in with some spots thigh or waist deep. We particularly enjoyed the swing hanging on a low limb over the water. A bonus here is having a sink to do dishes in and a flush potty. A light inside would be nice though. The property is a little disheveled and the club house in need of some TLC but absolutely worth the visit. Makayla is friendly and easy going, her animals are very nice and pleasant to interact with. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will revisit.

P2 was the perfect location for us to stay. It was 25-30 minutes from Round Rock, TX where our niece was getting married. We were able to come and go as we needed to. The San Gabriel River was very close and some of the other campers walked down to swim. We did not, but we did visit nearby Hutto and Georgetown. There was a fundraiser happening two miles from P2 Farm where they had a crawfish boil and tamales! We had a wonderful time!

I had so much fun at the McDonalds property on the river. They were very friendly and accommodating. The river was so relaxing and I loved the grills and hammocks they had set up. I would definitely stay again and recommend this spot to others. 💕

This spot was exactly what we were looking for. We love to camp and were looking for a perfect camping spot to pitch our tent. This was that spot. Off busy roads; nice, quiet and peaceful. Plus, there was electric which was awesome! Would definitely camp here again if we come out to is way. 10/10 would recommend.

Becky's property is in a picturesque setting on the Brazos River. Cool, crystal-clear water runs adjacent to the property. This location is ideal for people looking for a place to get away for awhile - and the fishing is pretty darn good, too.

Great site! We were the only tent campers in the tent area and our host Wendy was so helpful. We had plenty of firewood, the campsite was really quiet and the nearby highway provides a “sound-machine” type of background noise.
The restrooms were really clean and the kitchen area was great for washing dishes.

The hosts were so kind and the horses are very calm. They had multiple rides throughout the day and we were able to go and interact with the horses at the fence, which is not common for people who own horses! The patio area was very cozy, the bathroom was well stocked, and exploring the land was very enjoyable!
