Lost Goat Cabin

Stay at a 345 square foot Cedar post and beam cabin in the middle of 50 acres in the wooded countryside.  The cabin was built from trees that came off the property.  Park under or enjoy a two car - carport that doubles as an outdoor gathering space.  Between the cabin and car port is a 1/2 bath that adds function and charm.  The cabin has a loft with a queen size bed, two porches, a balcony, living room with a TV, and a full bathroom with a claw foot tub.

Established 1996,&nbsp;The farm is situated just minutes from Magnolia-Silos, the Dr. Pepper museum, Baylor University,&nbsp;&nbsp;the Texas Ranger museum, BSR Waterpark, the Waco Mammoth National Monument (US National Park Service),&nbsp;&nbsp;and plenty of magnificent restaurants.&nbsp;
There are no power lines over the property so I invite you to bring a kite to fly! You may even see one or two of mine in the sky. The theme of Coyote Creek Farm is tranquility. It is camping without someone crowding into your space. It is freedom from the hectic pace of the city.
There is a well maintained Compost Toilet on the property as well! Each individual campsite has a portable potty bucket provided.&nbsp;&nbsp;Nearly any spot you are on has an amazingly delightful view. You can see the sun rise over the trees or the sun set behind a gently sloping hill. You will have access to all of the 30 acres. There are paths to walk, a stocked tank to fish in, (bass, catfish and blue gill),&nbsp; and oak and pecan trees to sit under and view the clouds as they drift overhead. The noises you hear will be cattle calling to their little ones, birds singing, and in the evenings, coyotes howling.

Starlove Ranch & Animal Sanctuary

Our 100 acre heritage property has been in the family for over 150 years. Since 2017, we've been operating our land as a Vegan, Regenerative-Agriculture Farm & Animal Sanctuary. We currently have 2 dogs, 3 cats plus a herd of 31 Cows, 4 Potbelly Pigs and 2 Spanish Goats. The cows and pigs are all rescue animals so, where as they are adapted to humans being around them, they are very shy and petting them is not allowed. The dogs, cats and goats, on the other hand, are very friendly and love to be pet and fed treats.

We are located outside of Dime Box, TX and are a 30 minute drive from the quaint, artist village of Round Top, and 12 miles from Lake Somerville SP.

Our property has equal parts rolling pastures and wooded thickets and ravines. There are plenty of nooks and crannies to explore and gorgeous views of the Texas horizons....time your stay just right and you can stand directly between the sunset and the moonrise! We also have a hike-and-bike, nature trail that offers a 360 loop around the property.

We have a new construction Bath House on site for restroom needs w/ hot showers and composting potties plus a cold-water sink w/ non-potable water suited for washing produce, hands, dishes or camping gear.

Jody’s Hideaway

Very spacious land with 160 acres of hay fields, wooded areas, ponds, gullies, bolder rock garden, and cow pastures. Campers can choose their own primitive camp sites. Pack in pack out, no amenities provided. Oil field roads, and off road trails can be explored by hiking or by OHV. We are not responsible for any damages or injuries so please be mindful. No 4 wheelers, UTV’s, or motorcycles. Pets are welcome but must be under control. Fire wood gathering is allowed for camp fires come and enjoy yourself!

Come enjoy the serenity of central Texas where the loudest noises are the coyotes in the distance, the cicadas at night, the occasional bird or cow calling their friends. We have serene rolling pastures and amazing areas to watch the sunset, the birds, or a few deer (if the weather is right and you are quiet enough). We also have cows, horses, and the cutest donkey you have ever seen.

McDonald Farm on the River

McDonald Farm sits in the historic farming community of Jonah, TX between Georgetown and Taylor on scenic Highway 29. McDonald Farm is named after the patriarch of the family, J.H. Mcdonald, who first acquired the property in 1911. The farm sits on the bank of the San Gabriel River and features a lush canopy of huge pecan trees, sprawling corn fields, prairie, and forest.

We are a working farm! We primarily grow corn, but we also have livestock on the property. During daytime hours, you will likely see a variety of farm chores being completed. We offer a self-serve farm stand for our customers with fresh eggs, jelly and even pasture raised chicken - all produced on the farm.

We are only 7 miles from the Georgetown, TX historical district and square. Some say it’s the most beautiful town square in all of Texas. Enjoy shopping, dining, and festivals!

There is road noise. Highway 29 can be busy at times, despite being a two-lane road. Quiet hours are after 10 pm Sunday - Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday.

Access to our river site is included in your camping fee. This secluded hike-to (~ 1-2 minute walk) site is peaceful with limestone cliff views and no visible homes or signs of civilization. The trail head is accessed by a dirt road that winds around our corn field and into the woods, and can be accessed by any vehicle in normal weather conditions. We will provide warning/refunds if the river road becomes 4x4 only. Fishing is allowed with a valid Texas fishing license. There is no overnight camping on the San Gabriel River. All camping is at the main farm area and campers are able to come and go from the river site as they please (day or night!).

Great views of ponds and natural sources of runoff water abound!

36 ACRE R.V. ESCAPE

Once owned by an old farmer who turned the surrounding hillsides into terraces so that the land could be farmed and retain the watershed.&nbsp; With love this old farmer crafted the hills into terraced farmland.&nbsp; It's been 60 or so years since all of that!&nbsp; Now there's woods and prairie to be enjoyed!Learn more about this land:Complete privacy.&nbsp; Enjoy country campin' at it's finest.&nbsp; 37 Terraced Acres for launching your ATV or dirt bike into the air.&nbsp; Very close to town and anything that you might need.&nbsp; Camp anywhere you would like! I have 2 lots in a ravine that ends in Lake Belton!  Follow the Enchanted Ravine down to stunning cliffs and bluffs for a spectacular sunrise or setting that you will never forget!

You can park just off of the gravel road on the very edge of my property.  Pitching tents or staying in the van is okay but I would not try to do anything larger than a van.

This is the Enchanted Ravine leading to Lake Belton.  Corps of Engineer property borders all of the lake from the waters edge to a few hundred feet in some places.  This allows quick access down the ravine to public access lake Corps of Engineer Lake Property.

The old steps mark one of my 50 foot by 75 foot lots.  There will be separate areas for 2 campsites with definite markers.

The Farm and the surrounding farms have trees, vegetation, animals, birds, and cattle. One of my great personal experience on the farm was taking  a picture of a Bobcat. &nbsp;We have deer and turkeys that roam the farm as well. &nbsp;There is also a natural stream and a pond that we are working on to repair and fill.

Kamp Peace

       Kamp Peace is a camp ground and venue in the woods where the ponds attract life, the breeze whistles in the trees, ponds and creeks carve the earth, and love whispers down the wooded trails. Star gaze in the open field to catch meteors and shooting stars nightly.  **Book a fire-side Therapeutic Massage session or private  concert for your special night out!**
          We have a few campsites with different features, all of which are big enough for multiple tents. When booking, check them out for best match. 

       If you are new to camping, have an RV, or camper, van, etc the STAR VIEW Site has what you need. It's a big open flat space with a huge fire pit and the best shooting star view on the grounds. This site has Power and lights from the main Stage and is closest to the water spigot. 

       PECAN GROVE is a huge campsite in the shade of the pecan trees, beside the pond. There is a 10x10 deck and table to use. There is also a native sweat lodge built that only requires blankets to cover it.  This site is closest to the outhouse. 

       If you like to be further away from the hustle and bustle and appreciate more primitive camping, try the CEDAR CREEK Site at the back of the property. This site is near the (seasonal) bubbling creek, under the shade of the Juniper trees. There is a 10x 6ft shade tent with table and optional extension cord for use. (Request power upon booking)

      &nbsp; If you like a little more action in your campouts we do occasional music events on site. Ask about those dates when booking. We have a water hose for potable water on property and an open air private outhouse in the trees.  We have a strict trash Pack in/pack out all trash and pet waste policy. Leave sites better then you found them and don't cut down anything that is growing.  No burn bans if you use the rocked pits and put the fire out before you leave/sleep. Leave your mark by adding something useful or decorative to your campsite. Whatever your camping desires, we can accommodate!

Pecan Grove is a campsite with plenty of space for multiple tents. Easy access to the main road and outhouse. It has a native sweatlodge. 

Fire! There's never a burn ban out here in the pits. Plenty of free dead firewood around the property.

Welcome to M2 Ranch. We are a small working equine therapy and training operation housing a Non-Profit  501©(3) serving Veterans and their families. 

Welcome Llama’s 8/2025

Come watch the horses rescued from the wild and gentled to be used for therapy and rehabilitation. 

We house Mustangs from the Bureau of Land Management and work closely with their conservation efforts. 

We currently house guests 7 days a week and welcome the traveler. Come and stay with us for a night or a week. We have flexible arrival and departure times for travelers. 

We are located 20 minutes outside Waco, in a beautiful ranch community surrounded by cattle ranches and thousands of acres of beautiful TX pastures. Magnolia Silos, Baylor University, and historic downtown Waco are all a 20-minute drive. 

What we offer: 

RV hookups, with 50-amp power, Wi-Fi, and access to the property. ($50 a night donation). RV must have a self-contained restroom. 

We offer private horseback lessons, trail rides for the individual, and an on-site meet and greet with the horses. (Fees apply) 

Pets are welcome on leash only.
