Its 182 acres are nestled in the Lost Pines region and reside on Lake Bastrop – a place where fishermen thrive catching award-winning largemouth bass. Rent one of the park’s kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards or corcls (round watercraft for children) to take out on the lake. Pack your hiking boots and hit the 4.5-mile trail, offering an intermediate challenge for users with various inclines and descents, which connects to LCRA Parks’ Lake Bastrop South Shore Park. Along the trail, you can spot whitetail deer, jackrabbits, lizards and the occasional grey fox. Once you’ve arrived at the other park, you can show off your spike shot in a game of sand volleyball or tee off in a round of mini golf. Lake Bastrop North Shore Park also has a camp store for firewood, ice, snacks and souvenirs to make your camping experience even more pleasurable.

If you want to explore everything the big city has to offer, Austin is only 35 miles away (about an 50 min drive).

Nestled under Texas Oaks with a private garden and hot tub is a Gypsy Wagon known as The Peacock. Glamping at its finest, in a Tiny Home on Wheels. A lake view and only a 10 minute walk to lake access for swimming and or boat launch. There is also a recreation area, 5 minimum walk as well, which rents kayaks, paddle boats and more. The space This is a custom built Tiny Home on Wheels. The host is the builder and lives on the property in his own Tiny Home with completely separate spaces. The Peacock has a fenced, private yard. There is a semi-wild deer herd in the neighborhood which is very sweet. Additionally there is a family of peacocks that live nearby and wander free. A beautiful addition to the space and the inspiration for the name of the Gypsy Wagon. Guest access Free parking next to the home. There is a fabulous water recreation area a 5 minute walk away. The space Everything you need to prepare meals is provided in the kitchen, including cookware, utensils, some spices, sugar, and oil. Enjoy dinner together at our dining table or maybe on the back deck amongst the trees. A drip coffee machine, coffee filters, and coffee is provided. Living room has a 65” smart tv. We also provided some board games for guests to use. Master bedroom includes a queen size bed and a shower. Second bedroom includes a queen size bed. Second bathroom has a shower. A full size washer and dryer with detergent, WiFi High Speed Internet, and a propane grill is available. Guest access Guests will have access to a private hot tub and fire pit. Please note firewood is not provided for fire pit. Other things to note Add-On Fee $25 - Upgrade your stay with an outdoor movie experience. This add-on will give you access to a projector, tripod, and streaming device. Please let us know if interested at the time of booking, a request will be sent. Please note movie projector is NOT waterproof, after using please bring all electronic devices inside to prevent them from damaging.
