Our purpose is to offer you different accommodation options, so that you can live with your family and friends the experience of enjoying an unforgettable vacation in absolute comfort; without missing anything. You will find all sorts of ways to commune with nature at Lake Bastrop North Shore Park. Its 182 acres are nestled in the Lost Pines region and reside on Lake Bastrop – a place where fishermen thrive catching award-winning largemouth bass. Rent one of the park’s kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards or corcls (round watercraft for children) to take out on the lake. Pack your hiking boots and hit the 4.5-mile trail, offering an intermediate challenge for users with various inclines and descents, which connects to LCRA Parks’ Lake Bastrop South Shore Park. Along the trail, you can spot whitetail deer, jackrabbits, lizards and the occasional grey fox. Once you’ve arrived at the other park, you can show off your spike shot in a game of sand volleyball or tee off in a round of mini golf. Lake Bastrop North Shore Park also has a camp store for firewood, ice, snacks and souvenirs to make your camping experience even more pleasurable.

A very cool cute spot, the tent was nice and it opens right to the sunrise over the lake. I was here during the winter vortex and the heat worked fine, plus I brought my own electric blanket and it was comfy. This tent is about 1/4 mile walk down a gravel trail + some lawn from the parking spots, next time I'd bring a wagon for loading and unloading. But on the other hand it's the most secluded! It was a fine time.

Fantastic family getaway
This tent has the best view of the water! Easy to access and get settled in. Comfortable bed and couch. The heater worked great for the cold nights. It’s got almost everything you need. The cookware is very limited so if you need a large pan, bring your own. The coffeemaker is a Keurig, in case you want to bring your own k cups. The nearby bathroom facilities are fine, but I would skip the shower (or bring flip flops). The outdoor seating was great, and the grill and propane stove both work great. Lovely walking trail to South Shore. Perfect place to relax!

Not worth $450
View and area are nice. The beds and cooking accommodations were very nice and parking was easy. Communication from support was quick and helpful through the entire experience. We booked during cooler weather and unfortunately the heater didn’t work, no hot water in the sink and the “hot tub” didn’t warm up to even 90 until we were packing to leave (almost 48hrs later. Still covered) I’m not sure about the showers hot water, since the heater wasn’t working and there was no way to warm up no one was brave enough to take a shower.

Warm and comfortable, needs checkin
Overall the stay was nice and pleasant but some changes could be made. My main gripes are it felt like the place hadn't been touched or lived in in some time. The shower was covered in spider webs, the towels had a stale smell to them and the grill wasn't working. Luckily some of the other campsite workers were around to help us fix the grill.

Quiet and Family Friendly
This place was perfect! It's so family friendly, perfect for a couples trip or even a solo excursion. It was right on the water, secluded from other campsites! The bathrooms were a little bit of a walk, but given the amenities, that was a very small inconvenience. The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked great and they even have a grill and food prep area. We will be back!

Fabulous glamping site!
Excellent place to glamp! The site was wonderful. Clean, great views of the lake, distanced well from other campers, and had everything we needed, even a sink, a/c & heat! Shower facilities were well maintained. The hosts were accessible and very helpful. LCRA parks had an on-site shop to buy ice, firewood, extra supplies and to rent watercraft. Lots to do- kayak, fish, bicycle, hike. Not too crowded-I hope they keep it that way. The only thing we needed to bring was clothes and food, the rest was already there for us. Will definitely go back.

Amazing luxury!
Almost feel guilty calling this glamping since it was so luxurious! The park is gorgeous and the site is the best part right on the lake. This cabin in particular has a private hot tub and in cabin shower and bathroom. The hosts greeted us when we got there. (COVID conscious wearing masks which we appreciated). They had started heating the hot tub and asked us if we wanted firewood and ice - which we accepted gratefully. The cabin is well appointed with keurig, electric hot water kettle, microwave and mini fridge. They had dishes, mugs, silverware and cooking utensils including pots and pans. Propane gas burners x 2, bbq grill and fire pit just outside. Comfortable king size bed and two twin size day beds perfect for our family of 4. The lake park has kayak/canoe rental and there’s also fishing and a boat ramp. Short drive away there’s McKinney roughs (better hiking trails) and for little kids - dinosaur park. Lots of takeout options as well as cooking. Walmart and H‑E‑B close by. Overall an amazing stay! There is a communal hot tub and seating area near the lake as well. The hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Would love to return!

Exceptional stay
The best trip our family took of this year. The tent was massive and had so many things, we know the owners are thoughtful for that reason. There are dishes and utensils, they left a lighter and small things that really helped. The decor is sturdy and pleasing. We are a family of 6 and it fit us comfortably. We’re definitely making this a yearly reoccurrence. We were RIGHT on the shore. So beautiful.
