The host was very cordial and kind. She has a great deal of property there and had several other people come during the weekend however we were able to pull our travel trailer in a fenced area which allowed us to let our dog run free, which we greatly appreciated. This was the first hip camp we had ever stayed in and it worked out really well for us because it gave us the opportunity to be right in the middle of the things we wanted to see and do like Cade‘s Cove Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.
She was actually hosting I believe a community scavenger hunt on our property and the other campers participated and had a good time with it. My husband and I just stayed within our little area because we’ve just recently gotten married and wanted our time.

Alessandra and Gianfranco were excellent hosts and provide a perfect camping experience for those looking to connect with nature but still have some of the comforts of home. As hosts, they were available and accommodating but nonintrusive. We booked last minute for a group of 4 families and they welcomed us with open arms. We had one overlanding trailer with a rooftop tent, one jeep with a rooftop tent and 4 ground tents. They have two great spots to set up camp, one in a wooded area with two toilets and a kitchen area and another with a toilet and outdoor shower, kitchen, fire pit, and teepee. We could have all easily fit in either space but chose the space near the teepee. We were all pleasantly surprised by the toilets… they were comfortable and easy to use and had no smell at all. Alessandra and Gianfranco cleaned them a couple of times a day. Be sure to bring your own toilet paper with you though! We are hoping to visit again this winter when it snows and we are already planning another group trip in the spring.

Oh my goodness, the hosts were incredibly kind and attentive to our needs. Our tent and belongings got wet after a heavy rain; the hosts helped us set up another place to spend the night. The farm was fabulous, with well-cared-for animals that my daughters enjoyed petting. The greenery produced delicious, rich-flavored herbs, onions, tomatoes, and beautiful flowers that we added to our table. The facilities were in excellent condition, down to every detail. The site had a mini kitchen area with a stove and a sink with running water. It also had a shower with hot running water, and the compost toilet was clean and comfortable. My family and I had a great time!

Everything went as expected. We wanted to disconnect and pretty much live off grid for a camping trip. While we did have phone service which was still a plus. We stayed in lake view cabin. No electric no modern anything. It is a hike up hill to that cabin. They say 5 min. I'm a older over weight lady so it took me a bit longer but my 17 year old ran up carrying stuff so definitely not to hard. Very peaceful and we do plan to return. We got to see a momma bear and 2 cubs about 2 miles from where we stayed so that was exciting too. Just remember your going to the mountains it is possible to see bears so be aware of your surroundings. But we slept with the windows and door open and had no problem at all.

Janice was so nice and very accommodating! We stayed at the same site with the shelter up in the hill. Primitive campsite and very private which we loved. Had fires both in the evening and in the morning. The animal life was wonderful! My 6 and 8 year old little boys loved seeing the animals roam around. Great stay!

We had a great time staying here in our van. The horses and donkey were sweet. The lynx was super cool. Kimber was very kind and graciously helped us out of some mud we got stuck in. We also had a great time getting to know her and some other campers around a fire. This is a very country set up - everything works but it's the opposite of fancy so be prepared for practical.

We had a uniquely great experience camping on Kimber's land. Our travel trailer rolled into the fenced in area adjacent to a sheltered picnic area and fire pit. The dog loved being off leash!
Kimber (Corky) was a fantastic host in every way. My wife had a memorable experience hanging out with Muzzle the lynx. The two horses and donkey were friendly and seemed to enjoy having us around.
I won't claim this is a site for everyone. It's a little rough around the edges. But, if you appreciate authentic character, you can't beat the Critter Camp.

Weekend Trip to Twin Valley Horse Ranch
The placed to stay! , I was visiting alone , took horsemanship clinic and riding trail , the room was great , the ranch is so beautiful and peaceful and janice is the best
