Judy was born in a little cabin just down the road. Judy & Don along with many family members have made cherished memories here over the years. We want to share its beauty with you and your family. Please consider, Clayton Geneva is a primitive campground, gravel drives and left as natural as possible. This is not a sculpted campsite or a concrete campground. The primitive area is as such, gravel, grass, sand terrain accessible by a one lane gravel drive that leads over the hill and around the cliff to the riverbank. This drive is absolutely passable however is left bumpy to keep traffic at a safe speed as pedestrians also walk the drive. It is passable by any vehicle as long as the vehicle is not overloaded beyond its ability and/or has an extremely low profile. Any area that is not an actual campsite is left to nature, not manicured, trimmed or sculpted. As you’ll find all the sites are clear please don’t expect micromanaging of wild growth of our native plants in areas around the sites as we reserve those areas for the wildlife to enjoy. Please consider all the above mentioned details, primitive campsites are not for everyone and that’s ok.

A short 10-minute drive to fire tower rd. brings you to a 2 mile loop trail with 2 waterfalls, Upper and Lower Piney Falls. Ozone falls is just a 20 minute drive. Then toward Spring City is Stinging Fork Falls at 25 minutes. Black mountain is my new favorite place especially the south overlook! The Hiking possibilities are nearly endless and close. I'll highlight one thru hike here since both trailheads are only 20 minutes away and is easy to coordinate with only 2 vehicles. It's a 10.2 mile hike that can be done in either direction and has a little something for everyone including a cave, boulder field, cascade and waterfall. Then you have massive Watts Bar Lake which is only 20 minutes away with a plethora of activities including the excursions we offer! We look forward to hosting you!

The property is in Cumberland County, TN, is mostly wooded, and the Caney Fork River is on the property. River access is available with a short/moderate hike. The location is outside of the nearest town by about 20 minutes. A dollar general and gas station are about a 10 minute drive. Suggestions: 1. Bug spray may be helpful. 2. Bring extra firewood if you plan to cook over the fire. There is plenty of pine if you would like to gather it yourself but very little hardwood downed. I will provide a few starter logs. 3. Bring water if you are opposed to drinking well water. There is an outdoor faucet close to the campsites for well water. This is a bring in, take out experience...trash, towels, sanitary waste, etc. There is an additional $10 charge for leaving litter- this includes cigarettes. I live onsite and am available for questions most anytime. Dylan is an excellent host! He gave us our privacy His dogs are so sweet, they'll wander around but they listen well. It feels odd camping on the side of someone's driveway, however, youre within 12 minutes of a gas station and stores and it's so quiet! Would definitely recommend for a quick getaway with 4 people max. May be a tight fit for 2 tents. Definitely coming back!

Weekend Trip to Clayton Geneva Memorial Camp Ground

This was perfect. You can walk to the water and fish, the portapotty is close to all the camp sites and she gets them cleaned weekly. We drove our truck to the site and the person next to us had an SUV and we had zero trouble getting to site. Banks end looked like the best site since it has the whole end to itself and closest to the water. Sites are well separated and a good space for group camping! Lots of add ons offered by the host from eggs to fishing bait and she delivers your firewood. Close to Cumberland falls and was just an hour and a half drive from Knoxville for a weekend get away!

I spent a week on Amber's beautiful land. It is a very peaceful location and Amber was a wonderful host. The river itself is beautiful to look at but shallow and very silty so not great for kids wanting to swim or play in the water. I would absolutely come back.

What a view! This was the perfect spot for just hanging out and relaxing, with fun hiking and sightseeing nearby. We brought our 3 young children with and they had a blast in and outside of the camper, which was clean and contained everything that we needed for a couple of nights. I liked camping at Patrick's River point. Patrick and Angelica were so very kind and helpful. I signed up for the campsite with the tent setup and everything was just perfect. It was an enjoyable two days day. I was grateful the showers had hot water lol! I would highly recommend.

My family and I had a fantastic stay tent camping at Patrick’s Point. We will definitely be going back. The facilities were very clean and accessible. Our host, both Patrick and Angelica were warm and welcoming. I recommend to anyone looking for a nice relaxing time.

The clear walls and ceiling make for a forest emersed one of a kind experience. It is like sleeping on the porch when you were young. Comfy for the whole family.
