Weekend Trip to Fox Field Farms Creekside Camping

We had a great experience at this campsite, and a big part of that was thanks to Tom! It rained the first night we were there, but Tom went above and beyond—he made sure we had dry firewood and even offered us a sheltered spot in case the rain got too intense for our tent. The site itself was well-maintained and peaceful. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a welcoming, well-run camping experience!!

The site was very secluded and the fire pit was very nice as well. I was able to get up the hill in my dodge challenger with just a little scraping so it wasn’t as bad as it looked. This was definitely camping out in the woods which was what we were looking for.

It was a lovely stay that I will make again. It's got no service so you can really disconnect and get in nature comfortably. They were super accommodating despite a same day booking on a random Wednesday and they were so kind and cool!

We absolutely loved our stay!! Directions to get to the retreat / campground were very clear and easy to follow! All of the camp sites were beautiful. We enjoyed the quite and listening to nature around us. We ended up getting rained out on our 2nd day but we enjoyed our glamping trip !!! Our spot was perfect for our tent. We will definitely be back SOON!!! There is a very small waterfall about a 20 min drive from the gramp ground that we went to explore. Type in “The Waterfall” on Google Maps! The creek at the retreat was also fun to play around in! One of my new favorite spots!

Came out with a load of little kids and had plenty of space for two tents and two cars. The kids LOVED the waterfall and nearby creek to splash. We left early due to a flooded tent from very heavy rain, but that’s no fault of the site. We will be back for sure! Jennifer is very communicative and helpful.

3 nights at Peaceful Hills Retreat Campground

While the site has very rocky ground and stayed mostly wet while we were there (with stormy weather the first day & night it never seemed to dry up), the privacy of the site and beautiful waterfall definitely made up for it. The whole campground was very quiet. The tree canopy blocked most of the night sky view, but it's only a short walk to open views for any stargazers. Site was big enough to accommodate 2 large tents (6-8 person tents), shelter, and 2 vehicles. Porta potty was VERY close, seemed like basically a private bathroom for the site. The directions given by the host to the campground and specific campsite were very specific and extremely helpful, especially since there is no cell service there. The hiking was fun though very steep. The eggs & firewood extras were definitely worth it. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Great place to get away and enjoy nature, take a walk on our trails through the woods, take a hike down to our creek, listen to the birds and watch the sunset over the pasture while cooking s’mores on the fire, yet not that far from Nashville! Perfect for enjoying nature and/or visiting Nashville. Traveling with horses? They are welcome to use our fenced pasture. This site is for self contained RVs only, there are no restroom facilities. Check in is between 2 pm and sundown. No check ins after dark without prior approval. Limit of 2 vehicles and 2 pets. When you request to book just let us know how many people will be camping, how many pets you will be bringing with you and what you are camping in, travel trailer or motor home, and what length in feet it is.
