At the front of the property you will find horses in the paddocks as well as chickens, mini donkeys, a sheep, a pig, mini Highland cows, and dwarf Nigerian goats, all within the barnyard. It was very peaceful at Helga's cabin. It's just a sweet, simple space to be quiet and enjoy some alone time with my dog. It was such a treat to be able to talk with Helga in the yard. I wish it had been warmer to sit on the porch and enjoy my coffee. Bad timing in weather (it was 20 degrees!), I would have loved to sit on the porch to drink my coffee. I also would have loved to have more time to chat with Helga. Hopefully there will be a next time!

We loved it! The cabin is cozy and cute! Plenty of hiking onsite and friendly dogs/cats to keep you company! Helga was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed. She gave great local recommendations and even had fire wood ready for us on arrival! This was great because it had rained the day prior and we had dry wood! The hiking on her property is beautiful. Plenty of rock formations and views. Thank you for a great stay!

We loved the glamping cabin and the views. It matches the description well. Great place to stargaze too we spotted some meteors as well! But it was super chilly and there was just one heater so that was little hard to sleep we assumed there would be more. But in summer I think it would have been the best. We didn't get to interact with hosts a lot but they were super responsive. Would definitely recommend but come geared up.

It was absolutely magical. My mom and my family of five with a 4, 3 and 2 year old had THE BEST time. We had plans to do things in the area and the grounds themselves were so amazing we never left once we parked. 10/10 in ALL ways. Dog friendly too.

Weekend Trip to Peaceful Haven Cabin
What a cool and artsy place to spend the night! I was just looking for a place to break up a long drive, but I’d love to go back and settle into the property and the area for longer. Helga really makes the most of the space, is a great steward of the land, and is even an advocate for local artists. I was surprised the WiFi was as good as it was, and the available tea and popcorn were so thoughtful. Directions are easy, drive there is beautiful. Highly recommend.

1 night at Baker Hollow Farm in Nashville
My boyfriend and I stayed at the beautiful cabin for 1 night. We arrived late at night but they still welcomed us, showed us how to get to the cabin and how everything works there (outside shower, lights, power etc.). The cabin was very hidden from everything, very quiet, it felt like a real nature retreat. The whole property itself was also absolutely stunning, they have the sweetest animals, honestly they were so andorable and friendly, and you guys were so nice! Thank you again for everything! Btw, the dog and that one lighter brown horse are so cuddly and happy for visitors 😍 we would’ve loved to stay longer but we were on a tight time schedule.

The place was great it was just me and my dog. Helga was great. About an hour to Nashville good state parks within 20 mins. It was great home base for checking out the Nashville area and enjoying the great outdoors.

Great secluded peaceful spot in the country. Helga was very nice and loves to chat. She made sure I had everything I needed. The cabin itself is a nice size with electric heat so stayed warm even though it got down to 20 degrees the second night. You are only a few minutes away from Centerhill Lake and 20 minutes from the Caney Fork river, so great option for those looking to fish.
