We've stayed here several times, and love it - is a sprawling, ramshackle farm that is a great place to spend the night camping with our trailer with our dogs. There's one or two campsites with electric and water hookups (that you may or may not be able to find) The land is somewhat unimproved with lots of mud and ruts and junk and holes (be careful). There are cars and campers strewn about. The pigs are very friendly 😁 We saw a family of bobcats crossing Eatons Creek road out front. It's SO close to downtown and the development is encroaching closer and closer - we hope it will stay wild and undeveloped forever.

We camped tucked back in the woods with beautiful old growth trees and a clearing that shows you the stars. It was private, peaceful, and Melissa was an exceptional host. We had a wonderful visit to Sheila's hipcamp site! This place was very secluded and peaceful!! We loved exploring the creek with our heeler, she had a blast fetching and swimming! There were tons of butterflies and migratory songbirds birds. If you're a birder, you would love to visit here during the migration!! We enjoyed going for walks and listening for birds. We put our popup tent up under the awning bc it was supposed to rain here and there. Worked out perfect. Our gazebo tent does not have a floor. Everything stayed dry. Loved hearing the creek and frogs at night when we went to sleep. Lightning bugs everywhere and the stars were amazing! Thank you Sheila for sharing your beautiful property!

Beautiful property in the country. Everything was exactly as described. Quiet and peaceful. Her partner came out to help when I dropped my motorcycle and was kind and friendly. Beware that access to the group camping area and showers was slippery and a little steep by motorcycle after a rain but should be fine in an automobile (I was prewarned). I would stay there again.

Host responded to a question right away on our arrival. The site is nice and secluded, with a stream bordering the field which helped everyone sleep like a rock :). There is a house on the edge of the property but nobody was home. We moved some tables and things aside under the pavilion to camp under it the second night before storms rolled in. Overall loved this place! Thank you, Sheila!

This is a great little spot to stay! It feels like you're way out in the country, but it's so close to downtown Nashville. Rustic, charming and semi-private with room to roam and a fire pit. Cody (resident dog) greeted us, just as he did a year ago. There's friendly goats, pigs and other animals on site. I've stayed twice now, nearly a year apart and will certainly stay again if it's available next time I'm in the area and need a spot. Communication with host was great and he was very accommodating. Highly recommend!
