Learn more about this land:One can expect a wonderful wilderness experience at Earthganic Farm’s riverside camping. The path down to the sites is drivable in a truck, SUV, or van. There’s always the option to park up at the house and walk down (it’s a ten minute walk from the house to the river) and if you let us know ahead of time, we can bring your camping stuff down for you. We have two single kayaks that we rent for $15/day and you can put them in right on property and kayak up and down the river. There are walking/dirt biking trails through pine forest and nice hardwoods down by the river. The brave can take dips in the river. Nero Coffee's Camping Spot has three ways to camp. Site 1: Glamping in my custom built (and way too adorable) mini A frame cabin. This cabin is tucked in the rhododendrons for complete privacy. There are multiple sites and so much room to spread out for groups up to 8 people. You will be about 8 minutes to DuPont State Forest (my favorite hiking and biking area) which has miles and miles of hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails. The entrance to Pisgah National Forest is about 15 minutes away as well so it's a convenient drive to visit the forest and drive up to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I also own a company that guides "coffee hikes" to local waterfalls in DuPont State forest. You can find more about that in the photo descriptions. :) Please note!! My road up to my driveway is steep and bumpy. It’s only 0.3 miles up but bumpy. You don't need four wheel drive but higher ground clearance is recommended. (I have had small cars make it up but it is a bit intimidating if you are not used to driving in the mountains). if you have a small car just go slow. :) ------- Larger group? Want an indoor bath and shower?? If you are planning a larger group camping retreat and want to book the entire campground (including the main house with indoor shower, restrooms, and full kitchen and spare bedroom) I can make that happen for $500 a night. It's honestly the perfect spot for private, group camping and glamping up to 15 people. Just send me your date request and I will share a link to book if your dates are available. We loved staying at the creek house. Such a comfortable cabin very cool style. Sitting in there with the curtains blowing the windows open the little fairy lights under the loft it was a level of relaxation i hadn’t experienced maybe never in my life before. If you’re looking to get away from It all, this is the place. I brought two of my kids with me nine and 12 years old I think it was equally enjoyable for them too. Weekend Trip to Singletrack Shack

The shack was a nice upgrade from tent camping. Having access to electricity and water was convenient with the kids. We got in after dark the first night and Rick still met us over at the site to show us around and the next night he was kind enough to prepare the fire pit so all we had to do was light it when we came back. The outhouse was clean and nice. The boys loved the nature trails!

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp

The A-frame was comfortable, and I liked that the door was facing the creek. The sound of the water was peaceful. The A-frame was well stocked, and the land amenities were awesome. The bathrooms were clean, and we enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge. There were fireflies when we stayed. We'd love to stay on this lovely land again.

Very organized and clean, solar lighting to light the paths, communicates easily, the cold plunge and sauna area is an oasis in the camp ground! The luxury bathhouse is wonderful! I found the outdoor shower the last day- my mistake! Tools in the cabin were a nice addition as i havent camped in many years! Comfy beds! We want to come back!

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp

The treehouse was a beautiful stopover for our girls road trip! The house itself is beautiful and has all the amenities and creature comforts while still being out in nature. The property is nice and private, and within short distance to lots of nearby places to visit. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting again!

3 nights at Cold Spring Basecamp

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay in the trees at Cold Spring Base Camp. The tree house has everything you need for a relaxing, peaceful getaway. The space is full of beautiful details from the beautiful countertop to the tree growing in the bathroom. The bed and linens were very comfortable, lots of hot water in the shower with nice toiletries and enough supplies in the kitchen to cook a simple meal. Having coffee or a cocktail on the deck was magical. We plan to return.

AMAZING!! 💯 would stay here again! The land, the comforts of home, the view and sauna to the creek fed cold plunge… truly a one of a kind stay. Our 14 year old loved the loft and adventure. So unique I almost don’t want to share the good news.🥴

2 nights at Back Yard Campground

Such a fun spot! Hosts communicated directions ahead of time. The coop is the perfect spot if you’re looking for the camping experience with some added amenities. It is one of a kind, for sure! The property is peaceful and allows for great relaxation. There is a stream that runs behind the coop which you can hear from the porch, adding to the ambiance. Porta-Jon is close by and kept clean. Host even supplies lighting for the coop, which was a great bonus. Fantastic all around!!

Weekend Trip to Cold Spring Basecamp

We had a great weekend staying in the Teela Springs Cabin at Cold Springs Basecamp! It was probably the easiest camping trip we’ve ever done as a family. No need for a tent or cooking gear since it was all included with the cabin. A great way to get outdoors and spend time with the family. The cabin had a lot of privacy compared to the other sites we saw which we really enjoyed.

The property is a gem in this area. The rustic cabin was perfect for our group. The facilities were impressive. Nicest campground bathrooms I have ever been in. The cold plunge and sauna was a nice touch and unique. There are trails on the property for hiking or biking and even a waterfall. Great place to base camp and would highly recommend to anyone!

We had a great stay! It actually feels a little magical. Outside you are camping and sitting around the campfire, but inside the tent is like a hotel room with all the luxuries. Would definitely stay again!

Weekend Trip to 3 Creeks Camp and Nature Preserve

Damon was a nice host that offered assistance when needed. I stayed in the Creek Campsite and it was a joy! The property is beautiful and he has a web that was nice to sit on and look at the stars. Easy to navigate in and out of the site (even with a little sedan). Only stayed for one night, but it just so happened to be a night full of music and a light show.

I almost don't want to review this place positively because me and my wife wanted to gatekeep it for ourselves 🤣 What an absolutely magical space to unwind in. This cabin is truly a hidden gem amongst one of the most beautiful areas in the Carolinas. Katlyn is an exceptional host, and thought of all of the little things to make our stay just perfect. We will definitely be returning again!

Unique stay! The treehouse was so magical and perfect! It had everything you could need and was super cozy and peaceful! The bed faces the east so it was really nice to be able to just roll over and see the sun coming up while you were amongst the trees! Great centralized location to towns and hiking as well! Communication was solid which I always appreciate. We definitely plan on coming back and would highly recommend anyone looking for a unique experience!
