Weekend Trip to Hidden Acres

Loved the campsite. It was secluded, plenty of space and perfect for a relaxing 2 night camp. Jeff, the host, was very welcoming and I had a very enjoyable long conversation with him before leaving. He's a great guy and I will definitely be returning when given the opportunity.

2 nights at Friendly Fowl Farm

We absolutely loved camping at Belinda's place. It's secluded enough but convenient at the same time. My kids enjoyed seeing all the friendly ducks, chickens, goats and turkeys! We made a fire on the second night and that helped keeping away the biting flies. Next time we visit we will make sure to pack the citronella candle. Thank you Tony and Belinda for your hospitality!

Extremely easy to find, easy to use, and easy to enjoy campsite. Great location just minutes from the beach one way and Beaufort the other. Privacy was nice, but you were still right down the road from restaurants and coffee, etc... . It was just what we were looking for. We will be headed back.

It was a great experience to get away from home for the weekend. Easy to find. Everything was close together. The area had great views and the camping site was tucked away perfectly from the marsh and farm. We had a great time.

Great directions and owner was easy to reach for additional details which was super helpful since we arrived in the evening. Site was clearly marked and was tidy. Only 10 minutes from the Angel Oak which is a must see when visiting the area.

Really well maintain camp area with the added bonus of the farm! The bath house was spotless. I booked the lamb cuddle and bottle feed time and it was the highlight of my week! Clair’s baked goods are really good too.

Sarah's land was a beautiful space to camp out for the night! We arrived in the evening and woke up to horses, baby goats, pigs, and a friendly barn cat. The showers and bathrooms were very clean as well! 11/10

1 night at RV Spot-Full Hook-Up

Nice shady spot close to the rest room. The chickens are friendly and the several roosters did not sound off until nearly 8 am which was a pleasant surprise. Watching the two Guinea fowl chase each other was fun.

We had a great stay! Even though we had some storms and rain, we had a lot of fun. We had plenty of space and communication from the hosts was awesome. The fire ban lifted just in time so we could have a little campfire on our last day. Added bonus: the kiddos enjoyed hearing the owls and the animal sounds.

Had a wonderful time here on Nicole’s Hipcamp! The big functional barn is a lovely site- the bathrooms and even a laundry area is quite nice. Everything is planned out well, the electric & water at the sites (I stayed Under the Oak) were a great bonus .. Enjoyed walking around and seeing the animals— loved it, Thankyou!

Edenhope Farms is nestled on 6 acres and is a sanctuary for rescued and unique animals. We have a Zebu bull, which are the oldest recorded bovine in history, dating back to the Bible. We have goats and peacocks, chickens, a potbellied pig, rescued squirrels, and rescued ducks. Soon to come.... Sheep!!! My property used to be the disposal site for the CocaCola bottling Company. Go on a scavenger hunt and find old bottles. Relax around the fire pit and listen to owls, wild geese, bull frogs and the Quack Pack. Lounge on the spacious deck overlooking all the farm animals or take a dip in the swimming pool. At night grill on the BBQ or have an oyster roast. We do have an indoor toilet for you to use and an outdoor shower. Go for a walk through the woods, do yoga, head to Hunting Island beach which is 10 miles or drive 3 miles to historic downtown Beaufort. We are also close to Parris Island and many other historical sites. While here you can enjoy historical tours of Beaufort County’s earliest years of the Santa Helena colony in the mid 1600’s, the revolutionary war period, the pre-civil war and plantation time period and the antebellum, reconstruction history up to the Civil Rights visits of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. at the Historic Penn Center. The Lowcountry is great for water sports, kayaking, boating, jet skiing, sailing, hiking and canoeing. Each season offers an opportunity to participate in fishing, crabbing, shrimping or digging for oysters in local waters. Our area is a favorite of cyclist groups, the long, flat, rural, scenic, roads offer pleasant riding experiences for cyclist of all ability levels. There are bike lanes on many of the major roads. Other recreational activities in our area are geocaching, horseback riding, tennis, golf, hiking, beach volleyball, beachcombing, and birdwatching. There are a few special events throughout the year, Gullah Festival-May, Water Festival-July, Shrimp Festival-October, Beaufort Food Truck Festival-October, Soft Shell Crab Festival-April, Pat Conroy Festival-November, Heritage Days Festival-November, Night on the Town-December.
