I live here full time, with two cats & 5 chickens whom are all free range. I live here in a double wide by myself, two outdoor cats. Deer, fox, rabbits, hawks and the like are common visitors. This is brand new to me, lots of improvements to be made in the future to make a guests stay even better, so for right now it’s bare bones. Can accommodate tents or certain campers. No pump out, no electricity or running water for “sites” yet, if ever, but running water is here and available for free. Additions to come soon: outdoor shower, available compost toilet available for rent while here, fresh herbs, vegetables, fresh local eggs, firewood, and covered gathering/ cooking area (not built yet) and much more, I’m really excited. Open to idea’s and options. No fireworks/ gunfire allowed at anytime, no “parties”, but gatherings, campfires, games and fun always welcome. I prefer meeting guests apon arrival to answer any questions and help all feel comfortable. I do have medical conditions that may prohibit it at times though.

This property is unimproved and unmaintained raw natural land. The entire property is surrounded by a farm drainage ditch on all sides, with random farm drainage ditches to insure the land is dry and a 60’ x 60’ old farm irrigation pond (see satellite photo to know where the ditches are located). There is plenty of seasoned raw wood (from when the property was cleared 4 years ago) laying randomly throughout the property to cut and collect for a camp fire. The land is located off a dirt access road that is well maintained by the county. The county dirt road can provide for hours of peaceful riding via mountain bikes. Campers are more then welcome to cut their own path on the land for their campsite. There is a fire pit by the large tree when first entering the property at Entrance 2 (please see photos for the locations of Entrance 1 and 2). Note: This raw land is unmaintained and was last cleared 4 years ago, photos are from April 2022. I really enjoyed my stay here. Scott is a wonderful host. The site was easy to get into, very well taken care of, and private. The location is central & convenient to everything nearby. It is truly a haven for camping in an area that has otherwise been gentrified & built up. Thank you for the hospitality, Scott! Looking forward to another stay.

I spent a few days tent camping and hunting. The property is easy to access and has plenty of space. It’s a super quiet area in the middle of the National Forest. Enjoyed clear skies, plenty of stars, and good communication from the host.

Although we didnt use all your amenities there were many. The showers were great, well maintained. Our site was level which means a lot when camping. The surroundings were great, there was a lot to do.

The area was cleared and level for a tent or even a camper. Jeff had a fire pit already set up to use. You are able to see the Moon and stars in the country area he has cleared out. Easy to located. It was very peaceful and the nature of the birds, crickets and the hoot owl were amazing! We would recommend this camp site to anyone!!!

5 nights at Tiki RV Yard

As soon as we pulled in both hosts were there showing us where to park and they helped us. A very smooth process. We plugged in and connected the water. They have 2 beautiful outdoor bathrooms with running water a sink and lights. Beside that there is a cool outside shower. The pool is great. We had an awesome time and we will definitely return. We loved camping at scott’s spot!! he was extremely considerate from the moment we pulled in, he even had treats and a ball ready for our pups the spot is tucked behind on his land and could adjust to small/big families and had everything we needed for tent camping (plus more) and he even surprised us with eggs from his chicken to cook for breakfast. the area is both away from the hustle and bustle but also close enough to the beach and food. overall, super generous man who we can tell loves company, we could have sat and talked to him for hours but unfortunately we were short on time, thanks for everything you did for us, scott!!

We had a great stay, close to everything in town. Easy drive to the beaches. We didn’t get to use the pool or the tiki bar. But I checked it out real quick before we left. Would definitely stay again and longer if we make it back this way. Host met us on arrival and nice and helpful..

There are places to stay along your journey... And then.... there is Louie and Janice.! It's not a place to stay: it's a life experience. What a wonderful couple!!! Their place is amazing! They get it! Camping is not just about finding a place to sleep for the night; it's about meeting people. We happened to land when these guys where having one of their local concerts. It truly was the best evening of the summer!! We felt like life friends to moment they greeted us upon arrival. Love these guys like family. Highly recommend this fantastic experience! Find it...get lost in the Tiki vibe!!!! Thank you; thank you Louie and Janice❤️👍

Quiet mix of short term and seasonal folks. Very pet friendly and the pool and pond are a nice relaxing touch. Would highly recommend for a little getaway, close enough to the fun stuff but far enough away not to deal with it.

We had such a great stay at Louis's Tiki Bar! The site is super accessible and came with everything we needed: 30A hookup, a clean restroom, and even a water hose (though we used our own tank). It was easy to get in and out, and the location felt safe and welcoming. The site itself had a lot of character—definitely more than your average RV spot. Best of all, it's right on the same property as Louis's bar, which makes it the perfect place to stay if you're in town for one of their live concerts. You can walk to everything and really enjoy the atmosphere. Wish we could have stayed a lot longer—next time we definitely will!

I came to this beautiful sight to stay while visiting a friend for some golf. The place is beautiful, well-maintained, and Lorie is the sweetest! She accommodated a last-minute change for me without hesitation. My dog and I had long walks together, weather permitting. The atmosphere is clearly western, and I felt like the wagons had circled for a rest on our journey. The horses grazing and rolling in the grass were a big plus. Uber clean restrooms and showers. Laundry availability a plus. My golf? Cancelled due to lightning. I will be back, maybe in the spring before the summer heat.

Louie’s place was awesome! Just what we needed as a quick stop on our way to Myrtle beach! The pool and tiki bar will be a nice addition when finished! Louie was very hospitable and accommodating! Definitely recommend!

We stayed at Laurel Oaks in our motor home and had a beautiful site (Site1). They have 2 sites with plenty of space in between with concrete pads, fire pit and chairs. The property is beautifully maintained and the host was wonderful. If you’re looking for crazy crowds and like to be jammed next to your neighbors, this is not for you. If you want to be close enough to the beach without all of the hassle, I would recommend Laurel Oaks. We will definitely be back. P.S. …. You can also order farm fresh eggs 😊
