With the original home built in 1785, Milk Thistle farm is on the historic register and is comprised of the main house and 5 acres of land. It is run as a small non-profit animal sanctuary and is home to rescued chickens, goats, and pigs, as well as two humans and their dog and cat companions. The main property is fenced in, with a large back field great for tent camping, and an orchard to explore that can also double as hammock camping. There is parking for cars and bikes. We try to minimize our impact on the environment as much as possible, and encourage our guests to compost, recycle, and dispose of waste accordingly. Please note we have dogs, including a Livestock Guardian Dog that does bark to alert us of new people and warn off would be predators. Despite our glorious natural setting, we are actually very close to all the places people want to visit in RI-including Providence (15 minutes), Newport (30 minutes) beaches (15-40 depending on which one you chose) and a bunch of parks and hiking areas (15-45 minutes max). I know this is listed as an RV spot but it’s also a great tent spot & car camping area as well. Been here a few times and will be back again. Private, safe and scenic, what else could you ask for. Theres also a clean porta potty on site and an epic, natural stone firepit.

We had such a wonderful stay at this campsite! The host was incredibly accommodating and always quick to respond! She was amazing! It made the whole experience feel easy and welcoming from start to finish. We brought our two kids and our German Shepherd!
The campsite was peaceful, clean, and thoughtfully set up. It was also great because it was super close to stores and restaurants as well. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would happily come back again. Highly highly recommend for families and dog owners! 🏕️🐾✨

KSJoy’s property was as described and a nice spot to hang out for a couple of days before the busy holiday season kicks in. Full electric hookup. No water this time of year (was just shut off last week). Nice area. Drove around. Followed the host’s recommendations for local food. Great advice! Had our four dogs with us. The property is close to a fairly busy road so having good recall (or we brought a fencing system) is essential. The road noise Fri-Sun in mid Nov. was not an issue. The host was very communicative and answered all questions but was hands off which we liked. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed staying at KSJoy's land. It was exactly as described. You can hear some road noise due to the closeness of the road but because of the home on the property, it's still very private. Our dogs enjoyed being off leash and there was a good amount of room for them to roam around. If in the area we would not hesitate to stay again.

We had a great camping trip here! It was our toddler's first trip, and he can't stop talking about how fun it was. He loved visiting the animals and running up and down the trail. Our spot was private and easy to get to. I think if we did it again with him (and our absurdly giant tent) we would go with the Orchard site because it looked a little bigger, but we were very comfortable. Like any piece of woods in New England, it's not a bad thing to have poison ivy wipes with you, especially if you're with a tiny human who loves to disregard the paths. We loved having farm fresh eggs in the morning! We already recommended it to friends.

I love the variety of camping styles you can have on KSJoy’s property. I have hammock camped, tent camped and will absolutely be back for a car campout soon. There is a gorgeous, rustic stone fire pit that I haven’t used yet but may on my next trip. The onsite bathroom is a welcome amenity. The yard is beautiful. There is a bit of distant road noise but it does not detract from the peaceful surroundings. I already can’t wait to come back. Five stars all the way… if there was a star rating 😊

Had a fantastic weekend at Glamp Frogmore staying in the tent. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully set up - felt like proper camping but with all the amenities you need. The tent had everything we needed including comfortable beds and was surprisingly cozy.
The location is absolutely stunning, and we loved exploring the trails around the property. The boating was a real highlight - peaceful and perfect for unwinding. The whole setup feels very authentic while still being comfortable.
Justin and Amy were very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. Great value for a unique glamping experience that's different from your typical hotel stay.
Would definitely recommend Glamp Frogmore for anyone looking for a memorable outdoor getaway. We'll definitely be back!

We stayed here for one night while on a longer road trip. It was a perfect place to stop over and spend a night. The goats were my favorite part. It is a walk in site but they had left out a cart for us to use. We also had our own so it made load in/load out really easy. Very private spot.
